Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies is all set to hit the silver screens on December 7, 2023. For the unversed, the movie will mark the debut of some famous star kids such as Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, among others. As the much-anticipated movie is gearing up for its release, director, Zoya Akhtar revealed some unheard anecdotes about the cast of the movie, and it's simply unmissable.
During an interview with Vogue India, Zoya Akhtar witnessed Khushi Kapoor and Suhana Khan being extremely supportive and cheering for their co-star, Yuvraj Menda as he was seen posing for a picture. However, seeing this, Zoya mentioned:
“I hope it stays this way."

Zoya Akhtar, in the same interview, also talked about the off-screen bond between the cast of her upcoming movie. The director revealed that each of the cast members has been really supportive of each other, and she really hopes that they remain the same throughout the course of their respective careers. Zoya further mentioned that each of the team members has been really good for each other. Speaking along the same lines, Zoya mentioned:
"I hope they champion each other throughout the course of their respective careers because they’ve been so good—they’ve been good for each other and they’ve been good with each other.”
Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies is an Indian adaptation of the popular American comics of the same name. The movie will be released on OTT giant, Netflix on December 7, 2023. The storyline of the movie will revolve around the fictional hilly town of Riverdale, and it will portray the story of love, friendship, and heartbreak through The Archies, 'Betty', 'Veronica', 'Jughead', 'Reggie', 'Ethel', and 'Dilton'. Suhana Khan will be playing the role of 'Veronica', while Agastya Nanda will be seen as 'Archie Andrews'. Khushi Kapoor will be portraying the role of 'Betty'. 'Jughead', 'Reggie', 'Ethel', and 'Dilton' will be played by Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi, and Yuvraj Menda respectively.
It was back on August 29, 2023, when the whole cast of The Archies left everyone baffled as they took to Mumbai's Western Express Highway to announce their movie's release date. Decked up in casual outfits, the whole team shed some uber-cool vibes. The cast could be seen announcing the release of their debut movie by using a live billboard that featured a countdown timer, which was seen tracking the number of days left before the release of the movie. Moreover, the whole process was indeed unique.

Suhana Khan looked glamorous as she slipped into a grey cropped top, which she teamed with denim pants. Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, looked pretty in a grey sweatshirt and trousers. Big B's grandson, Agastya Nanda looked handsome in a white t-shirt and matching pants, which he teamed with a denim jacket. The other members, Vedang, Mihir, and Yuvraj looked handsome in their causal OOTD, while Aditi looked hot in a white-red checkered crop top, which she paired with black pants and a grey jacket.
