Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s co-star confirms that everything is fine between them

Euphoria Season 3 is attracting a good viewership on HBO despite mixed reviews. While the rumours of Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s feud are getting a lot of attention everywhere, the duo’s co-star, Jessica Blair Herman, has now opened up on the truth. For the unversed, Jessica plays Sydney’s neighbour on the show.

Jessica appeared for an interview on Good Day New York on April 27, 2026 (ET), saying that the cast members of the show were able to get along on set. Jessica clarified that there were no other issues between them, and they even share a good working relationship with each other. Addressing the reports of Sydney and Zendaya’s alleged feud, Jessica said:

“To be fair, when I was there, they’re not sharing scenes. Their storylines are very separate, you’re shooting on different days and stuff.”

Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s alleged dispute started for certain reasons a long time ago

The report of Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s alleged dispute was first shared by The Sun on April 7, 2026 (ET). An insider for the outlet claimed that the actresses reportedly had issues with each other that started a long time ago, and they hardly came in front of each other while filming for the third season of Euphoria. The insider also mentioned:

“During the press tour, any interactions between the pair are being kept to a minimum to avoid any awkward encounters on camera. There is a complete ban on journalists asking about tensions between Zendaya and Sydney.”

The source for The Sun also said that Zendaya’s fiancé, Tom Holland, was also one of the reasons behind her alleged dispute with Sydney Sweeney. The insider said that Sydney was reportedly flirty with the Spider-Man: Homecoming star when he came on set, which was unacceptable to Zendaya. Sydney and Zendaya’s political differences are also believed to have contributed to their alleged feud. The source for The Sun referred to the same by saying:

“It’s not like they have had a big bust-up, but Zendaya has quietly distanced herself from Syd. Their politics are wildly different. It’s a bit of a headache because Zendaya doesn’t want to be associated with a Trump supporter.”

Notably, Zendaya was allegedly late to the Euphoria Season 3 premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on April 7, 2026, to avoid facing Sydney Sweeney. Furthermore, Zendaya did not attend an after-party for the cast at Chateau Marmont on the same day, which was also believed to be linked to her alleged dispute with Sydney. Although Jessica Blair Herman has now clarified that everything is fine, Sydney and Zendaya have maintained silence on the matter.
