For the past few weeks, rumours were rife that all is not well between Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma. Now, Dhanashree put an end to it all with a strong note on her IG handle. The star wife also revealed that she got a knee injury and might not be able to dance all her life, but her family and her husband have been a pillar of support for her.
For the unversed, it all started after Dhanshree had dropped 'Chahal' from her surname on Instagram. Now, she is just using Dhanashree Verma as her name. It happened a day after when Yuzvendra had shared a cryptic IG story. He had posted a picture that stated, 'New life loading.'

On August 21, 2022, Dhanashree took to her Instagram handle and posted three adorable selfies. Alongside it, Dhanashree revealed she got disturbed by all the separation rumours. She also revealed that she had a knee injury and was busy relaxing at home and going to physiotherapy & rehab everyday. Dhanshree wrote:
"Good morning guys, Here are some REAL life updates. It’s a late morning coz’ I actually overslept; thanks to you guys. Needed all that sleep to recover. It’s funny though, I opened my eyes feeling so confident & strong today. Something I was seeking for the past 14 days. I had completely lost confidence due to my knee injury that happened while dancing (my last reel) & I landed up tearing my ACL ligament. I have been resting at home & the only movement I have had is from my bed to my couch (along with physiotherapy & rehab everyday)."
Dhanashree also revealed that in these hard times, her family including her hubby, Yuzvendra was extremely supportive of her. She added:
"My husband, my family and my closest friends."
On August 18, 2022, Yuzvendra posted a note for his fans. He called out the separation news a rumour. The cricketer had also requested his fans not to believe in rumours relating to his relationship with Dhanashree and asked people to stop spreading the rumours. His note could be read as:
"A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly. Put an end to it. Love and light to everyone."
