Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech are one such couple who have been under the media scrutiny and are time and again asked by the journalists about when are they planning to start a family. On November 30, 2018, Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech celebrated their 2 years of togetherness. Sharing a picture with his lady-love on their second anniversary, Yuvraj wrote, “We made it to 2 years pulling each other’s leg, standing up for each other in good and bad times! Many more to go, happy anniversary.” And Hazel shared another picture with her doting hubby, and captioned it, “My partner in life and my partner in fighting Crime. These two years have taught us how to stick together through good times and bad.”
Yuvraj Singh along with his mother, Shabnam and wife, Hazel Keech attended Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding on December 12, 2018, at Antilia, Mumbai. When Hazel posed for the paparazzi at her wedding, keeping her hand on her tummy, rumours started doing the rounds that the couple has been visited by the stork. According to the latest reports, Yuvraj and Hazel are expecting their first child and it suggested that they might make an announcement soon. Mumbai Mirror reports also stated that the guests at the wedding were seen congratulating the couple.
But when Pinkvilla got in touch with Hazel to confirm the news, she revealed that they are not true and stated, “I am great, but just a little embarrassed because each time I put on a little weight, the reports say I am pregnant. This is like the 3rd or 4th time. Trying to have a normal life is hard.” When asked about Yuvraj’s reaction to these speculations and her answer was hilarious. She said, “He rolls his eyes. He is so used to it.” She further added that sometimes he laughs it off and sometimes he does get irritated. In September 2017, when Hazel was spotted at the airport, the conjectures of her being pregnant started doing the rounds. Then also, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Hazel refuted such reports and was quoted as saying, "I appreciate you are not copying and pasting the rumours since you're the only media person to actually ask me - No, I am not pregnant."
On being asked about their plans of starting a family, she responded, "Nothing set stone as of now. It'll happen when it has to happen as our marriage happened. It's destiny. I don't know how will it happen, if I am pregnant will he be around as he has to travel so much." Further adding that they hardly get to see each other because of their work commitments.
Hazel had shared, "Between us, not really. I think we are kind of happier now and we both have the security of marriage with us. You know he is far busier now, so I hardly see him post marriage. We are exactly the same. We are very transparent in that sense." Hazel’s mother-in-law, Shabnam spoke about the speculations of Hazel and Yuvraj expecting their first child.
She had said, “Oh God, no, please! Abhi nahi! Hazel is not pregnant. It’s wrong for somebody to quote like this... Abhi toh sirf dus maheene huye hain shaadi ko (It has just been 10 months since their marriage). It’s funny how people want to get on to super express mode. Let them enjoy their married life. Bachche toh saari umar paalne hain. I don’t understand why everyone is in so much of a hurry.”
Shabnam argued that being a celebrity does not mean that their privacy should be compromised, “Obviously, it’s a very hurtful to read such things written about you...
