Yes, actor Karan Pahwa, famously known for playing the character of Anmol in Star Plus’s hit series - Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has made headlines with his engagement news. Karan gave his fans a sweet surprise by sharing pictures of him getting exchanged to his long-time girlfriend, Supriya Rajmitra in a lavish ceremony, on December 09, 2018. The two have been in a long-distance relationship since the actor shifted to Mumbai for his work commitments. The couple shared the pictures from the night on their respective Instagram handles. Karan also shared a cute caption, “Adhoori saans thi...Dhadkan adhoori thi..Adhooren ham.. Magar ab chaand poora hain Falak pe Aur ab pooren hain ham”. On the other hand, Supriya captioned the pictures as, “Dream come true”. Check out the pictures below:
Karan looked dapper in a white tuxedo, while his ladylove Supriya, complimented him by opting for an off-shoulder flared gown. The two even shared a romantic dance after exchanging the rings. In an interview with Timesofindia.com, Karan shared how love blossomed between the two, and how they nurtured it with time. Karan said, “It's very true, marriages are made in heaven, so was in my case too. I first met and bumped-into my girlfriend at a dance class. Our love story is complete filmy. We first became friends and friendship gradually progressed toward love. Our relationship went through many ups and downs. Ours was a long-distance relationship as I had to come to Mumbai for acting. For those who don’t know, Karan started his career in 2014 with Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai playing the negative role of Shakti. Later, in 2015, he played the positive character of Anuj in Secret Diaries. In 2016, he again portrayed the negative role of Kundan in Balika Vadhu for which he even shaved off his head for his breakout performance as an actor. Later that year, he began playing a spoiled brat and negative character of Anmol in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, who all the time harasses his aunt Akshara.
