Yeh Meri Life Hai actress, Shama Sikander rose to fame for her stellar performance in the web show, Sexaholic. However, the actress has been leading the headlines for a while for her relationship with an American businessman, James Milliron. Every now and then, she takes to her Instagram handle and shares pictures with her fiance, giving major couple goals.
Shama has never shied away to showcase her love for her beau, James. Her social media platforms are filled with their photos and videos. The couple was supposed to get married in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic had hit, and they had to postpone it. But according to the media reports, they have been engaged for a while now, and in a recent interview, the actress mentioned her wedding plans.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shama Sikander opened up about her wedding plans and talked about how it had got postponed for the COVID-19 outbreak and that she is excited about her new beginnings. She even mentioned that her relationship with James has always been smooth, and she couldn't have found a better partner than him. In her words:
"It will happen soon Inshallah. Hopefully 2022 will be the year we get married. I am excited. Our relationship has been very smooth right from the beginning. Our coming together has been easy. We have not had these mera dil upar neeche ho raha hai, zameen aasman ghoom gaya feeling. It was just very calming, safe, assuring and easy. It feels like we were meant to be together and we were meant for each other."
Talking further in the same conversation, Shama added that like every other relationship, theirs also have ups and downs, highs and lows, but the motto both of them follow is not to break up and to make it up to be with each other. The 40-year-old actress mentioned:
"The whole idea is to not break up but to make up. We don't want our egos to get in the way of our relationship. We keep our egos in check. It takes a lot of work, we both meditate a lot. Even our difficult times are easy. We don't force each other to be who we are not. We are two individuals who are extremely in love with each other and ourselves. We respect the boundaries and we love to give each other. It is not oh he is my fiancé so I have to do it, it comes naturally to both of us. We don't like complications."

In an interview with Zee News, Shama had opened up about her relationship with James Milliron. She had declared her engagement news and had said that she is engaged to her boyfriend. She had expressed how she feels lucky to have him in her life. Talking about the same, the actress had shared that every half an hour, he says he loves her. She further had added that it's beautiful when a person finds someone exactly like you who thinks of love in the same way. She had stated that she is blessed.
