Quite a few celebrities including Varun Dhawan and his longtime girlfriend, Natasha Dalal had tied the knot earlier in this year, and now the Kaabil actress, Yami Gautam has jumped on the same trail. It came as a sweet shock for all of us when Yami Gautam had taken to her IG handle to share a picture from her intimate wedding with the Uri director, Aditya Dhar. The couple had kept their relationship so private, that even most of Yami’s friends also had no clue about the two of them dating. As per a report, Yami and Aditya were in a rock steady secretive relationship, which was believed to have no ups and downs in three years.

On the evening of June 4, 2021, Yami Gautam shared a picture from her wedding ceremony on her IG handle to announce the same. The actress had looked beautiful donned in a red saree with a dupatta on her head, while Aditya had complemented her look with a subtle beige outfit. On this post, the couple's friends from the industry like Dia Mirza, Kartik Aaryan, Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and many more had dropped comments, extending their warm wishes for their new journey in life.
On June 5, 2021, the actress gave us another glimpse from her intimate wedding celebrations and took to her IG handle to share happy moments from her mehendi ceremony. She captioned the post as, "O dear one, why worry ? What is meant for you will always, always find you." In the first picture, Yami looked simply beautiful in an orange salwar-suit, putting on the brightest smile while she looked at her husband, Aditya Dhar. The second picture was a jolly candid of the actress and the third picture was of her palm with the lovely henna design on it.
On Yami's mehendi's pictures, her actress friend, Kirti Kulhari wrote, "Heartiest Congratulations to u both sweetheart, loads of love and best wishes" while Vaani Kapoor commented, "Beautiful." Nimrat Kaur and Manish Malhotra left heart emojis in the comments section.

For those, who are not aware of Yami and Aditya’s love story, it looks like the spark between the two of them had blossomed during the shoot of the film Uri: The Surgical Strike. In many media interactions, the actress would often praise Aditya for his work. The question is, did the couple know each other before the blockbuster Uri? To this, a source had told ETimes, “Not really. But, sparks flew on the sets of 'Uri' almost from Day 1. They might still not accept that they were in love from 'Uri' days but the fact remains that they don't like to indulge in any PDA, which is exactly why nobody from the 'Uri' unit came to know about their feelings for each other."
