Actress, Yami Gautam had surprised everyone by announcing her wedding with the director of Uri: The Surgical Strike, Aditya Dhar. The duo had taken to their respective Instagram handles to announce their wedding on June 4, 2021. The couple had tied the knot in an intimate mountain wedding. Soon the Vicky Donor actress had shared pictures from her pre-wedding rituals, and they were surreal. The then-bride-to-be had looked serene in her minimal makeup look, and the bridal glow was evident on her face.

By sharing the first picture from their wedding, Yami Gautam, who was also a part of the movie, Uri: The Surgical Strike, had written, "In your light, I learn to love - Rumi With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya."
The duo had tied the knot at her hometown in Himachal Pradesh, and a few hours ago, Aditya and Yami were spotted at the Mumbai airport. After getting hitched earlier this month in the presence of a few close friends and family members, the duo returned back from Himachal Pradesh. Both Yami and Aditya covered their faces with masks and face-shields. The power couple looked adorable as they were spotted by the paps while exiting the airport together.
In the pictures and the videos, we can see Yami donning a baby-pink floral suit, paired with a pair of shimmery heels. Yami did not forget to keep the touch of a newlywed woman as she wore the traditional red chooda. Besides that, she also flaunted her dejhor earrings, which are worn by Kashmiri married women. On the other hand, Aditya rocked the casual look as he opted for a black hoodie with a pair of blue jeans and white sports shoes. He completed his look with a dark face shield.

It seems like Yami Gautam had taken the decision to tie the knot very instinctively. Her wedding planner, Gitesh Sharma had revealed that Yami's father had contacted him just a day before the wedding festivities had begun. In an interview with the Mid-Day, he spilt the beans on the low-key wedding affair. He had also shed some light on the fact that the couple was clear about not wanting a glamourous wedding.
Gitesh had further shared with the daily that the family had brought their own priest all the way from Bilaspur for conducting all the rituals. The duo had wanted to keep their wedding ceremonies natural and traditional. He had also revealed that the power couple got hitched in front of the deodar tree, and they had wanted the mandap to be decorated with banana leaves and marigold flowers, with an overall white and golden theme.
