But, just as KCC has begin its minicamp, coach Andy Reid appeared before the media and clarified the doubts over the tight end.

Kansas City Chiefs' coach, Andy Reid recently sat down for a media interaction amid the team's minicamp. During the session, he was also asked whether Travis Kelce's reported wedding plans with Taylor Swift were affecting his preparation for the upcoming NFL season. Although the veteran coach did not discuss the details of Travis Kelce's private life, he clarified that the Chiefs star is completely focused towards his responsibilities on the field. 

Andy Reid also mentioned that Travis is a complete professional. In turn, he has been completely engaged during the team's mandatory minicamp and offseason workouts. According to the coach, Travis has shown no signs of being distracted by his upcoming wedding preparations. Instead, he continues to approach his practice and training with the same amount of dedication, which has helped him carve out his career. 

Meanwhile, the internet is filled with reports about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's lavish wedding later in the summer. The 36-year-old veteran is now entering his 14th season in the league and recently signed a new deal with Kansas City. Despite the constant spotlight on his relationship, Travis seems determined to keep his professional and personal lives separate. Andy's comments, especially, come at a time when expectations around the Chiefs' championship run remain high after their average performance last season.

However, fans were curious to know why Travis did not join her. Later, the Chiefs' Instagram handle shared his picture from their mandatory minicamp. It revealed that the tight end was busy practising and fulfilling his NFL commitments. In fact, it was the same reason why he could not attend the premiere of Toy Story 5 with Taylor.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have not publicly confirmed the details about their wedding. But several alleged reports continue to claim that the couple are planning a star-studded ceremony in early July 2026. Several news outlets have suggested that Madison Square Garden in New York could host the event. A report also claimed that more than a thousand guests have been invited. In turn, the couple will take extensive security measures to maintain privacy. 

For those unaware, the venue holds special significance for Taylor Swift, who has held multiple sold-out concerts there over the years. In fact, the timing also aligns with Travis's NFL schedule. After the minicamp, the Chiefs players are expected to have several weeks off before returning to training camp in July 2026. In turn, Travis can use the time to focus on his personal life before shifting his attention back to football. Yet Andy's comments have clarified that the NFL remains Travis's top priority, despite all the wedding buzz.
