I Love LA is an American comedy TV show created by and starring Rachel Sennott. The show premiered on November 2, 2025, and stars Jordan Firstman, Josh Hutcherson, Odessa A'zion, True Whitaker, and Rachel in lead roles. The show has finally come to an end, and fans have already been asking if there will be a Season 2. The makers have finally revealed what's in store for the show and whether fans can expect another season of the much-loved show.
I Love LA Season 1 has finally come to an end with the season finale being released on December 21, 2025. The show followed 'Maia' (Rachel Sennott), an ambitious young woman who aspires to be a talent agent, and 'Alyssa,' her boss, as she approached her 27th birthday and sought a promotion. However, things became complicated before she could request a promotion. The lighthearted show follows 'Maia's' journey as she reunites with her friend group and how they navigate the time apart, ambitions, and new relationships.

In the final episode of I Love LA, the girls return to New York for an exclusive fashion event, while 'Tallulah' contends with some questionable styling decisions. As Season 1 comes to a close, the creators have confirmed it is not the end. Yes! During a press conference in New York City, the network confirmed that the show will return for Season 2.

The HBO special was confirmed by the makers after it delivered "strong audiences." For the unversed, the show became one of the "fastest growing original comedies." According to a press release by HBO I Love LA "continues to pace as HBO's second top freshman comedy in platform history, averaging nearly 2 million (L+3) US across-platform viewers."

I Love LA follows 'Maia' spiraling in NYC after she loses her job, pausing her relationship with 'Dylan' and betting everything on 'Tallulah's' Forme dinner. However, chaos brews while the latter coast through with "influencer confidence", 'Alani' clocks and calls 'Maia' "not good". On the other hand, 'Dylan' is not happy about the break and is bonding with 'Charlie' as he is tired of living around 'Maia's' emotional storms.

Another storm knocks on 'Maia' and 'Tallulah's' door as they wake up absolutely hungover, with bizarre matching tattoos, hours before the big dinner. And, to add salt to the wound, 'Maia's' sleezy boss, 'Ben', is back in town and once again is in his "pure power tripping creep" energy. Nonetheless, 'Maia' is not having any of it and refuses to work for him. While 'Charlie' helps 'Maia' reset and fixes 'Tallulah's' outfit, covering up the 'Ben' situation.

Season 1 finale doesn't give us the ending we had hoped for. The season ends with a massive, chaotic cliffhanger with 'Maia' barely holding it together as 'Tahullah' leaves for dinner. On the other hand, 'Dylan' sleeps with 'Maia's' nemesis, 'Claire'. While I Love LA Season 1 finale didn't give us the ending we had hoped for, it definitely set the stage for Season 2, assuring the fans that it will be twice as chaotic and dramatic.
Apart from Rachel Sennott as 'Maia' and Odessa A'zion as 'Tallulah', the show featured Jordan Firstman as 'Charlie', Josh Hutcherson as 'Dylan', and True Whitaker as 'Alani'. I Love LA also features an all-star guest cast, including Moses Ingram, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood, Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez, and Colin Woodell.
