Why Did Cardi B Not Spend Christmas With Her Boyfriend, Stefon Diggs? Here's What Her BFF Has To Say

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have undoubtedly been one of the most talked-about couples in 2025. Their relationship is more unique, as they must balance it with their celebrity lives, complex family ties, and co-parenting relationships. Consequently, when the couple did not spend Christmas together, fans immediately speculated that something was not well between the duo. Now, the rapper's best friend has finally given clarity on the same.

Why did Cardi B not spend Christmas with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs? 

Cardi B's longtime friend and blogger, Ken Davis, also known as Ken Barbie, took to X to dispel rumors of a strained relationship with the rapper. He explained that the couple could not spend Christmas together since both of them have children from their previous relationships. Consequently, they felt the need to balance the needs of everyone. For those unaware, Cardi B has Kulture, Wave, and Blossom with her ex-husband, Offset. In contrast, Stefon has several children with multiple women.

Ken hinted at a possible complication, explaining that co-parenting situations can become complicated when "baby moms" insist on being present, which affects holiday planning. However, he mentioned that the rapper does not want to expose her kids to that kind of chaos and hence decided to spend Christmas separately. In his words:

"If baby moms are on some 'my kids can't come unless I'm there,' then just it is what it is but my nieces and nephews ain’t gonna be around it."

Furthermore, Ken emphasised that Stefon Diggs' decision to spend Christmas with his children was a responsible choice on his part. Instead, his decision not to spend the holiday with his kids would have been weird and rather "insane" on his part. Moreover, he insisted that there is nothing scandalous about the couple's decision. Ken ended his statement by mentioning that Cardi B and Stefon's relationship is still new and they would figure it out over time.

Cardi B, 33, and Stefon Diggs, 32, were first linked together in early 2025 before they made their relationship Instagram official in June 2025. The couple's relationship quickly became public, and their public display of affection at luxury trips, NBA matches, Coachella, and other events made headlines throughout the year. Later in September 2025, Cardi B confirmed she was pregnant with Stefon's child and called him someone who makes her feel 'safe, confident and strong'. When Cardi B was pregnant, a women accused Stefon of being the father of her child and later the paternity test confirmed it. Sharing her views on the same, Cardi B said:

"Hello Barbara, this is Shirley, yeah, it’s me. Yeah, that’s your baby daddy, bit**. Yeah, that’s my baby daddy too, girl. Well, what now? I don’t f—in know. We’ll figure it out, bit**."

They welcomed a baby boy in November 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter amid the rapper's ongoing divorce from her ex-husband, Offset. Despite multiple rumors and outside chatter, they continued to take their relationship forward, as Ken mentioned, "there is no breaking news here, it is what it is."
