Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleIn a turn of events, it has been revealed that Summer House star, Amanda Batula will no longer be returning to the show in the next season. It is worth noting that Amanda has consistently been making headlines in recent times, first after her split from her husband, Kyle Cooke, and second after announcing her relationship with her Summer House co-star, West Wilson. Now, amid the news of her exiting the show, many are convinced that it has something to do with West.
It has only been a while since the news broke that Amanda Batula is leaving Bravo's Summer House. However, it seems that most fans are actually not surprised at the news at all. Taking to social media, one user wrote, “Honestly expected it, but next season is gonna feel like there is a giant elephant in the room. So wouldn't be surprised if next season is abysmal.”
Another user wrote, “Not surprising. I'll be surprised if ITC gets an S2 and she isn't part of it.” One fan wrote, “Leaving the cash cow for the grimy man that doesn't even respect you. Take as old as time.” Replying to the comment, another user added, “I hope Amanda learns to live off West's income now.”
An enraged user who couldn't believe that Amanda allegedly left Summer House for West Wilson commented, “I knew this was coming, but good she doesn't make sense on SH anymore. I can't imagine blowing up my life though to this extent over fucking West Wilson of all men.” A fan penned, “I do hope they end up together. Blowing up their lives has to be worth something right?”

For those unaware, the production for Summer House Season 11 is also set to begin on the July 4 holiday weekend. And while it has been reported that Amanda will not be joining the rest of the cast when filming begins, there is still a small chance she could make a cameo appearance in a group setting. The move marks a huge change in the Bravo franchise, as Amanda had become one of the most recognisable faces in the entire Summer House crew and someone who led the house through cast shake-ups and feuds.
Just two months after announcing her separation from her husband, Kyke Cooke, Amanda confirmed that she was in a relationship with West Wilson, who joined the cast of Summer House for Season 8. They had reportedly kept their relationship a secret from the entire crew, including Kyle and Ciara Miller, Amanda's best friend, who previously dated West.
This led her to face a lot of backlash from fans, prompting Kyle to voice his concern for her mental health. She was also questioned during the Season 10 reunion, where her co-stars poked holes into their relationship timeline, highlighting the tensions between Amanda and the cast.
As of now, it remains unclear whether the decision not to return for the upcoming season of Summer House was made by Amanda Batula herself or by the show's producers. However, regarding her boyfriend, West Wilson, reports suggest that Bravo had decided not to renew his contract for Season 11. The news came after he, alongside Amanda, had a dramatic season full of tensions with the cast. The conflicts were especially seen during the Season 10 reunion special. This led to reports that the makers were facing several challenges due to the strained relationship within the group.

Additionally, West had also made a comment before his exit, telling viewers to watch the NBA Finals instead of Summer House, which the makers were allegedly unhappy about. Interestingly, he noted that Bravo had made the right decision in ousting him from the show during his appearance on the Broadcast Boys podcast. This is because he didn't “think it would have been a fun summer.”
