Aubrie Greene went from wanting a lemon squeezer to a successful teen entrepreneur
Aubrie Greene's journey into entrepreneurship began when he was just 11 years old. According to his initial interviews, he got the idea of his lemonade business with a simple request to his mother to buy a USD 19.99 lemon squeezer he saw in the market. Eventually, he began to work on a unique lemonade recipe.

Soon, Aubrie's mother began taking the lemonade to her colleague, who, in return, placed large orders. In this way, he slowly turned the homemade lemonade into a well-known business in the Richmond area. When the demand increased, Breezzy's Lemonade transitioned from serving drinks in cups to selling bottled products.
After a few years, the product was stocked at local stores and restaurants. In fact, the brand offered a variety of flavours, which made it more popular within the community.
Aubrie Greene's story inspired many people due to the passion and dedication he showed at such a young age. He had autism, but his work proved that determination can overcome any challenge. In fact, his mentor once revealed that whenever the 17-year-old found something he truly loved, he used to turn it into something meaningful. It also encouraged others to achieve their dreams regardless of the challenges they face.
What do we know about Aubrie Greene's death?
Aubrie Greene's death was confirmed on July 14, 2026. Richmond restaurant Pig and Brew, which partnered with Breezzy's Lemonade, remembered him as someone who "shone brightly" and praised his vision, work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. In their words:
"At just 17 years old, he built something that inspired so many. His vision, work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit made a lasting impact on our community, and his legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched. Our hearts and prayers are with his family, friends, loved ones and the entire Breezy's Lemonade team during this unimaginable time."

Meanwhile, Aubrie's mother, Ceydria McCray, also paid an emotional tribute to her son. At the same time, she asked for privacy during the difficult time. Although she did not reveal anything about his cause of death, she described Aubrie as "the kid who dared to be different, dreamed bigger than his age and kept all lanes clear to it."
Until now, there are no official details about the circumstances surrounding the 17-year-old's death. His family has decided not to discuss the cause of Aubrie's death as they continue to grieve.
Although Aubrie Greene's life ended too soon, his impact continues to remain on the Richmond community. In fact, his journey from being a young boy selling homemade lemonade to becoming the CEO of a successful local business has inspired many.
