Six-time WWE champion, Reigns has won the Universal Championships twice and is considered one of the best wrestlers in the world. Roman Reigns is leading the headlines currently as he defeated CM Punk to win the WWE World Championship on Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania 42. Who is Roman Reigns' wife, Galina Becker?

Roman Reigns' wife, Galina Becker, studied Business Management in college and was also a student athlete there. She was signed to their school's track and field team, and in high school, Becker set records in the triple jump, long jump, 100-meter hurdles, and 100-meter dash. After her graduation in 2009, Becker went on to work as a fitness model. However, she soon stepped back from the spotlight to focus on her family life with Roman Reigns.

In 2007, while studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Galina Becker met Roman Reigns. They fell in love and dated for some time. Recalling the early days of his relationship with Becker, Reigns told WWE Unfiltered that they were clued to each other and didn’t care about others. After dating for a few years, Becker and Reigns got married in 2014 in a traditional Samoan ceremony on Disney's Castaway Cay.

Reigns once talked about his wedding to Becker and shared that he had married his best friend. For their wedding, the couple took a Disney Cruise with their oldest daughter, Joelle. Sharing his thoughts on his successful marriage with Becker, Reigns said it’s just ‘hard work’ that has worked well in his marriage.

Galine Becker was Roman Reigns’ biggest supporter during his cancer diagnosis

Roman Reigns has seen many highs and lows in his life. The wrestler was first diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2007 when he was just 22. At that time, Becker was pregnant with Reigns’ eldest child, Joelle. However, throughout his treatment, Becker was his biggest pillar of strength. She stood by him like a rock. Recalling the same, Reigns told People:

“I didn't really have anybody. I didn't think it was anybody's fault, I just had my wife — who was pregnant at the time. My mom, just the kind of mother she is, she was my rock, she was my support system doing all the worrying and all the praying and it felt like I was a little bit on an island.”

After treatment, Reigns began his second innings. When he thought that his life was going to be a smooth sail, he was again diagnosed with leukaemia after 11 years in 2018. However, his fans prayed for the wrestler endlessly, and he went into remission four months later.

Roman Reigns and Galine Becker are proud parents of five children. They welcomed their eldest daughter, Joelle Anoa’i, affectionately referred to as “JoJo,” in 2007. Joelle, who is 18, shares a warm bond with Reigns, and he, too, dotes on her.  She has also shared the screen with him, as in 2014, they participated in a PSA for the Ad Council’s “Take Time to Be a Dad” campaign.

In 2016, Reigns and Becker welcomed their first set of twin boys. In 2020, Becker and Reigns welcomed their second set of twin boys and have been leading a peaceful life with their kids. Reigns had been a hands-down father to his children, who found joy in taking responsibility for their father. When he was home, Reigns made sure to drop his daughter, JoJo, off at school.

During an interview on Impaulsive in 2022, Reigns spoke about balancing his WWE career with fatherhood. He went on to reveal that he keeps his work life and his personal life as separate as possible. Speaking about the same, Reigns shared:

“At the end of the day, I’m just a husband and a father and this WWE platform that has carried me and lifted me to new heights, I have to just check it at the door,” he explained. “There ain’t no Roman Reigns in my house. I’m just Joe talking to my wife.”

In 2020, Roman Reigns decided to temporarily step away from WWE in the wake of the pandemic to keep his family safe. He explained that he would have returned to work if it were just him. The pro-wrestler revealed that he trusts his life to his co-workers, but when it comes to his wife and children, it's difficult for him, as he doesn’t want to put their lives at risk. Reigns revealed that it was for his family’s well-being that he made the decision to step away from WWE during the pandemic.

Roman Reigns is a doting dad and a loving husband. But the one who keeps him and his family together is his wife, Galine Becker.
