Jack Martin is an American actor and comedian born on August 3, 1998, in Washington, D.C., with some records listing Columbia, Maryland, as his birthplace, and raised in McLean, Virginia, where he attended Potomac School.
He first got interested in acting in fifth grade after a near miss on a major film audition. He later enrolled at Georgetown University to study political science with an initial plan to work in politics, but changed direction after his first semester and went on to graduate a year early in December 2019.
While in college, he pursued formal screen training through summer programs at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and New York University Tisch School of the Arts at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory.
Martin began his career creating comedic content on social media, posting sketches on TikTok and YouTube, where his videos have amassed hundreds of millions of views. That online following helped him transition to television. His first credited TV role came in 2020 as ‘Chase Tracker’ on the CBS legal drama All Rise.
In 2021, he landed his breakout as ‘Josh Harris,’ the son of ‘Eve’ and ‘Gavin Harris,’ in NBC's science fiction drama La Brea. He appeared as a series regular throughout the show's run from 2021 to 2024, which was filmed primarily in Melbourne, Australia. He has credited the experience with teaching him how to work at a series level because of the long shoot and consistent episodes.
Following La Brea, he moved into streaming comedy. He joined the cast of Hulu's Pizza Movie, a comedy film produced by BriTANicK set for 2026, where he plays ‘Blake.’ He is also part of Mindy Kaling's upcoming Hulu series Not Suitable for Work as ‘Josh Teitelbaum.’
His other work includes a guest role as ‘Tulsa Braden’ on ABC's The Rookie. He even played ‘Charlie’ in the film Senior Prank and appeared in other projects like Almost Friday TV and Meet Cute Rom-Coms.
Lili Reinhart and Jack Martin have been romantically linked since 2023
The two were first linked in April 2023 when they were photographed kissing outside Los Angeles International Airport. At that time, neither of them commented on the romance publicly. A few months later, in July 2023, Jack made it Instagram official by posting a carousel of photos from their travels together.
In August 2023, Lili shared a birthday tribute for him, calling him "Cowboy" in a photo where he wore a cowboy hat. The duo made their red carpet debut as a couple in September 2023 at the Venice Film Festival, attending a Giorgio Armani event together.
Since then, they have kept a mostly low-key profile but have been spotted at several public outings, including fashion events like Giorgio Armani's Spring 2025 show in October 2024 and casual outings like a farmers market trip in Studio City in April 2025.
Lili has spoken rarely about the relationship, saying she keeps it private for protection, but has called it the best relationship she has been in. She has also credited Jack for his support during her health struggles with interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, and alopecia. In January 2025, Lili wrote that she could not have gotten through that difficult period without Jack.
