The eldest Haim sister. 39, tied the knot with a tech entrepreneur, Jonathan Levin, on New Year's Eve. People confirmed the news through a source close to the couple. Este and Jonathan tied the knot in California in an intimate, elegant and emotional ceremony after Este and her sisters, Danielle and Alana, had a dreamy Louis Vuitton wedding fittings. Who is Jonathan Levin? 

Jonathan Levin, the man who swept Este Haim off her feet, hails from the United Kingdom. According to Elle, he has studied economics at the University of Bristol and holds a master's degree in philosophy and economics from the University of Oxford. Later, Jonathan moved to New York and co-founded Chainalysis, a leading platform for cryptocurrency and blockchain analysis. In one of his conversations with The Big Whale in February 2025, he recalled discovering cryptocurrency in 2012, when scientists had just begun researching Bitcoin and published academic studies on how and why people use cryptocurrencies. 

Over the years, Jonathan has established himself as a key figure in the digital finance world. Later, in December 2024, he became the CEO of Chainalysis and has since worked on building trust and transparency in the cryptocurrency markets. He even went to the U.S. Congress to testify about Blockchain technology and national security concerns. But despite his strong presence in the corporate world, Jonathan Levin prefers to live a private life, aligning with Este Haim's principles.

How did Este Haim and Jonathan Levin fall in love?

Este Haim and Jonathan Levin reportedly met through mutual friends a few years ago. Este had once told GQ in 2025 that they went on a blind date via friends, spending a sweet and relaxed afternoon at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. The pair kept their romance private but were seen together at events such as Taylor Swift's birthday celebration, the U.S. Open, the Kansas City Chiefs suite, and hanging out with Taylor, among other occasions. Finally, in February 2025, just before Valentine's Day, Este confirmed that Jonathan popped the question to her and they got engaged. 

She proudly showed off her gold square-cut diamond ring. Later, she told Vogue that Jonathan proposed to her on December 22, 2025, during a makeup hike, using a placeholder ring before they received the final one. Recalling the proposal, Este said:

"I had Mario Badescu acne medication on, my hair was in a top knot, I had no make-up on, I was in sweats and sneakers. It was still a beautiful ring, but the moment he asked, 'Will you marry me?' and I said yes, he also said, 'We need to design this ring, because this is not the final thing.' I thought [that] was really, really sweet."

Before Jonathan Levin. Este Haim has not shied away from admitting that her romantic journey has not been easy. During her 2025 interviews, she recalled having a series of difficult relationships. The musician had one relationship where an ex ghosted and cheated on her, and the other where the man had allegedly tricked her into paying for his mother's medical bills. Another one left Este because she had Type 1 diabetes and he feared that the same might get passed on to their future kids. Este admitted to The Cut that these failed relationships made her develop a stronger sense of self-love. Needless to say, has finally found her fairytale ending with Jonathan by her side.
