Just before the NFL teams finalize their picks for the season, Denver Broncos linebacker, Jonathon Cooper has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. He was arrested in connection with a domestic violence case in Colorado. The incident has brought his on-and-off girlfriend, Jade Fiegen, into the spotlight. Although a lot is known about the NFL star, much remained unknown about Jade until her details got unveiled through court filings and police reports.

According to leading US media outlets, Jade is believed to be Jonathon Cooper's on-and-off girlfriend. The duo has reportedly been in a relationship for nearly 4 years. The court documents identify Jade as a 28-year-old woman. She is nearly the same age as Jonathon. But unlike his NFL fame, she has stayed away from the spotlight. In turn, not much is known about her professional life in public. But some reports claim her full name is Jade Fiegen. She has recently risen to fame after unexpectedly getting involved in a domestic violence incident.

According to the reports, Jade was also taken into custody after the incident. In turn, she was also taken for a forensic medical examination. Eventually, she was processed by the authorities, and her mugshot was shared. In fact, the police documents have given a rare update on Jonathon's private life. Before this incident, the NFL star had rarely spoken anything about his relationships. 

What happened between Jonathon Cooper and Jade? 

According to the arrest affidavit obtained by the media, the issue started after Jonathon and Jade got into an argument. There was allegedly a dispute about the accusations of infidelity. In turn, the affidavit states that Jade allegedly took his cell phone during the argument and threw it against a wall. The reports also claimed that she later tried to regain possession of the device. So, the couple got engaged in a physical altercation. Investigators claimed that Jonathon tried to stop her from taking the phone. 

Eventually, the situation became more dire, and he reportedly asked her to leave his residence. When she allegedly refused, the filings claim that he threatened to damage her cellphone. As per the police documents, he admitted that he bit her iPhone, which allegedly cracked and disabled the device. Later, the officers reached the scene, and they saw minor injuries on Jade, including some scratches and marks on her neck and arm. After the incident, they were taken into custody. Jonathon is facing domestic violence and criminal mischief charges, while Jade is facing misdemeanor charges.

Jonathon Cooper is a professional football player. He is presently the outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos. He hails from Ohio and rose to prominence during his college football days at Ohio State University. However, it was not all smooth. Before the 2021 NFL draft, Jonathon underwent multiple heart procedures after he was diagnosed with irregular heart rhythms during medical evaluations. Still, the Denver Broncos picked him in the seventh round of the draft. 

Since then, he has become one of the team's most reliable players. In 2023, Jonathon became a full-time starter and one of the team's leading pass rushers. Therefore, he got a major extension. In turn, in 2024, he signed a four-year deal worth USD 60 million, securing his future with the team till 2028. Meanwhile, the NFL and the Denver Broncos are gathering more details on the case.
