Back in 2015, Jessica publicly accused Dianna Russini of having an affair with her husband, Scot. She also accused her of taking sexual favours from her husband. In a now-deleted tweet, Jessica wrote, "@diannaESPN Please tell us how many BJ'S you had to give to get this story. And did they laugh at you before or after?" Jessica, in a now-deleted tweet, called Dianna, Scot’s 'side chick'. She wrote:

"@diannaESPN @Alan_Bal21 I'm pretty sure this info is coming from my husband to his new side chick (dianna) It's confirmed."

Jessica McCloughan publicly apologised to Dianna Russini for making disparaging comments

Shortly after Jessica levied such explosive allegations against Dianna, who was then working as an NFL insider at ESPN, rumours circulated online that the account was fake. However, in September 2015, Jessica took to her X (former Twitter) handle to apologise for her disparaging comments about Dianna. Jessica confirmed that she had only made the crude remark from her personal Twitter account. Jessica highlighted that she deeply regret for her actions. Her tweet can be read as:

"I deeply apologise for the disparaging reports about an ESPN reporter on my personal Twitter account...The comment was unfounded and inappropriate, and I have the utmost respect for both the reporter and ESPN. I regret that my actions have brought undeserved negative attention to the Redskins organisation and its leadership. My comments in no way reflect the opinions or attitudes of the organisation, and I regret that my behaviour has in any way negatively impacted the team and its loyal fan base."

On April 7, 2026, Page Six published the pictures of Dianna and Mike Vrabel. In the now-viral pictures, Dianna and Mike were seen enjoying their vacation at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona, by holding hands, hugging, lounging and sharing a hot tub. The duo denied any wrongdoing and insisted that they were part of a larger group. It was rumoured that it was Dianna’s husband who hired a private investigator and leaked snaps of Dianna and Mike’s private moments. However, later TMZ debunked the rumours and revealed that a local, unnamed couple leaked those pictures. Following this, Dianna resigned from her role at The Athletic.
