On December 30, 2025, the Counting On alum and Stephen Wissmann welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Currently, they are busy with their little one and are involved in parental duties. Stephen Wissmann was born to Loren Wissmann and Gloria Wissmann and was raised in Milford, Nebraska. He is one of the 13 children of Loren and Gloria. According to the Wissmann Family website, Stephen is a man of many talents. He is a private pilot, an assignment manager of Wissmann Enterprises Inc., and a skilled craftsman who loves making small furniture. Stephen is also part of the Christian/Gospel music family band, The Wissmanns, formed by his parents. As per his bio on the Wissmann Family website, Stephen directs the music arrangements, plays mandolin and guitar, and sings lead and bass.

Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann first met years ago through their families. In a 2024 interview with People, Jana gave a rare insight into her first meeting with Stephen. However, at the time, they were not in love. Just a few years before their marriage, they reconnected and dated each other briefly. But they talked to each other on and off over the years. Recalling their first meeting, Jana said:

"The Wissmanns would travel and sing. I remember them coming to our home, probably 13 or so years ago, and they ended up getting snowed-in here, which hardly ever happens in Arkansas. I remember just playing games late into the night, doing puzzles together until the snow melted off, and they were able to travel back home. I don't really remember Stephen that well because I'm older than him, and so he was not at all on my radar. We talked to each other on and off over the years."

During the same interview, Jana shared that initially she was reluctant to fall in love, but with time, Stephen proved that he was the one. She mentioned that it was his consistency that led to their marriage. The couple tied the knot on August 15, 2024, at The Grand at Willow Springs. Jana told People that the wedding was a 'dream come true moment' for her. She was quoted as saying:

"I think I've just been so guarded and just trying to protect and not really hurt again. I had been a slower mover on it, but just over time, his character, his coming back, still loving me no matter what. I know we have a big, crazy family, and that requires still kind of putting up with a lot of things. I'm like, my goodness, there are not too many people that do that. He must really, I guess, genuinely care about me."

Currently, Jana and Stephen are enjoying the best phase of their lives as they become first-time parents. On December 30, 2025, the duo was blessed with a son, Archie Gerald Wissmann. The couple announced the baby’s arrival in January 2026 and wrote:

"We took some time to settle into our new rhythm before sharing this sweet news. We’re soaking in these early days, full of love, wonder, and so much gratitude."
