The actress had been alleged to have tied the knot in June 2017, and the former pair opted for separation on March 4, 2025. Now, the main question in the limelight is, who is David Cantin?

She is best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Dina Manzo's husband, David Cantin, is not from a filmy background. However, he and Dina have been in the public eye due to their reality TV connections and David's earlier legal and criminal matters. These had nothing to do with their divorce filings.

In his filing, David revealed that he and Dina married on June 28, 2018, in Malibu, and cited that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” David also shared that his wife, Dina, has been staying in Florida since 2021.

He had also requested compensation for the attorney's costs and fees.

A report by the Hindustan Times revealed that before David and Dina married in 2017, he was attacked by a mobster, also in New Jersey. The attacker was hired by Dina Mazo's ex-husband, Tommy Manzo, to execute the assault on the businessman. The prosecutor charged Tommy with organising the attack. Claims were made that Tommy was outraged that his former wife became romantically involved with another man. Tommy was then found guilty and sentenced to 7 years in prison.

David Cantin and Dina Mazo, after filing for divorce, decided to pause their case to find a solution. They wanted to find one in a very dignified, private and cooperative manner without the involvement of the court. Documents from US Weekly revealed that Cantin had opted to dismiss his divorce petition on March 27, 2026. Immediately after withdrawing the cases, David and Dina shared snaps from their vacation together. She had written in her caption, "D and D 2.0'' while David had said, "Dina, I’ll go anywhere with you, baby. I love you, my Lioness." The couple has not even commented on the earlier divorce filing. Before reconciliation, both had submitted documents to terminate the marriage in 2025. It was all hush-hush.
