Julia Best Warner is an American actress, producer, director, and writer born in 1991 in Villanova, Pennsylvania. She grew up there with her parents, William Todd Warner and Nancy Warner, and two brothers, Rob Warner and Austin Warner.
She attended Radnor High School in Wayne, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2009. Her introduction to acting came through Upper Darby Summer Stage, a well-known youth theatre program outside Philadelphia. She later moved to Pittsburgh to study acting and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Point Park University, one of the top conservatory programs for theatre arts.
Warner has worked steadily in independent films since 2014. Her first credited lead was 'Dot' in the short film Dot in 2014. This was followed by Take Care as 'Sue,' Local Attraction as 'Ava,' and a string of festival shorts including Budget where she played 'Sarah,' Amie as 'Amie #2,' Tick Tock as 'Lane,' Nacht Der Damonen as 'Elizabeth,' Samantha Moonley's Greatest Feeling as the voice of 'Fish,' and Guilty Pleasures as 'Alice' in 2023.
On television, she appeared as 'Tiffany York' in Deadly Devotion, as 'Charlie' in four episodes of the miniseries The Baby Sitters Pub, and as 'Young Nurse' in two episodes of Ryan Murphy's Ratched in 2020. In features, she played 'Sarah Kelly' in Back for Good in 2017, and 'Dorothy Schepp' in The Whooper Returns in 2021.
As a filmmaker, she directed the short Fairytale Remix in 2017, alongside three episodes of The Baby Sitters Pub. She also has writing and producing credits on Real Live Girl and The Cutting Room Floor, which is currently in production.

David Corenswet and Julia Best Warner’s love story dates back to the time when they first met at Upper Darby Summer Stage, a summer theater program outside Philadelphia that Tina Fey also attended. Both were raised in Pennsylvania and acted there as kids.
Corenswet has described his romance with Julia as a slow burn that developed over years of friendship before turning romantic. The couple kept their relationship private for a long time.
The pair tied the knot on March 3, 2023, in New Orleans at the Immaculate Conception Church. It was an interfaith ceremony officiated by both a priest and a rabbi from Temple Sinai, with Jewish traditions like the breaking of the glass and a chuppah blended with Catholic traditions.
In early 2024, David Corenswet and Julia Best Warner welcomed their first child, a daughter. However, neither of them has revealed the name of their child and has kept it private. Notably, Warner told Corenswet that she was pregnant just two days after he learned he would screen test for Superman.
