Born on May 2, 1978, in Marina, California, Casey Noble grew up alongside her brother under the care of her parents, Joy and Ron Noble. While little is known about her early schooling, she went on to study at George Mason University, where she completed her bachelor's degree.
Casey Noble’s professional path began in Washington D.C., where she worked as a computer graphics artist, an experience that gave her significant industry exposure. Driven to enhance her creative abilities, she later enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise to study interior design. During that period, she took on small projects for friends and family to sharpen her craft.
Before becoming widely known for Design on a Dime, Casey had already laid a strong foundation in the design world. After finishing her training, she joined Hirsch Bender Associates in 2006 and remained there until 2009. Her time at the firm marked the beginning of her corporate career. Casey soon ventured out with two friends to launch her own company, which allowed her to handle larger assignments spanning restaurants and spas.
Her work caught the eye of high-end hospitality clients, including Borgata, SLS Miami, and The Redbury, further strengthening her portfolio. Her passion for the field later took her to HGTV's Design Star, where she finished as the second runner-up.
Though she did not win, her performance impressed the network's executives, who were reportedly searching for new talent. That opportunity led to her own show, Design on a Dime, in 2011. The run was brief, and the reason for her departure remains unclear. She subsequently appeared as a designer on 15 episodes of Hotel Impossible.

Speculation around Clay Matthews and Casey Noble’s relationship first began in 2013 when they were seen together at a hockey game, though at the time it was unclear whether they were a couple. It was believed that Casey was still in a relationship with Peter Sarantos during that period.
The pair eventually tied the knot in 2015 in a private wedding ceremony attended only by family and close friends. After her marriage to Clay Matthews III, Casey stepped away from television to focus on raising their family.
Their first child, son William Clay Matthews IV, was reportedly born in February 2015, five months before their wedding. Their daughter, Madeline Joy, followed in 2016, and their youngest, Colton Matthews, was said to have been born in 2018, though his exact birth date has not been made public.
The couple has largely kept their children out of the spotlight, and very little is known about them publicly. Their family also includes a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog. Casey has maintained a notably private lifestyle, staying away from media attention.
Clay and Casey came into the headlines in 2022 when they sold their Calabasas estate for USD 20 million. The French Provincial-style mansion is situated on more than 1.5 acres in the exclusive double-gated community of The Estates at The Oaks. Records indicate that Matthews purchased the land for USD 2.6 million in July 2013, with construction permits filed in 2015, the year he married Noble.
The home was first listed in July 2021 for USD 29.995 million following his release from the Rams. After two price reductions, it ultimately sold for USD 20 million, which was 20 percent below its last asking price of USD 24.995 million.
