The singer tied the knot Chris on July 18, 2026 becoming the last Spice Girl to get married. Although Mel C is a popular personality, Chris has mostly stayed out of the spotlight despite their bond.

Chris Dingwall is an Australian model. He also works as an actor, and screenwriter from Sydney. Although he rose to fame as Mel C's husband, before meeting her he had already built a career in the fashion and entertainment industries. Apart from modelling, he has worked on independent projects as a screenwriter and filmmaker.
After starting his relationship with Mel, the media immediately became curious about Chris. So, he gradually started to gain more attention. However, there are not much details about his family in public. According to reports, Chris is in his 40s and has avoided controversy throughout his career.
On the other hand, Mel C has spent decades in the public eye. Therefore, the couple chose to share only limited details about their romance and made only rare appearances together at events.

Mel C and Chris first met in late 2023 via the celebrity dating app Raya. Incidentally, the singer was visiting Australia for a DJ tour around the same time. Eventually, their connection became stronger, and they went on their first official date in Sydney on November 23, 2023. Gradually, the simple date turned into a long-distance romance with her in UK and him in Australia.
The couple made their first public appearance together at the Glastonbury Festival in 2024. Following the appearance, they were occasionally seen together but continued to keep most of their relationship away from the public eye.
Mel C, who earlier stated that she did not believe in marriage, later admitted that Chris changed her view. In turn, she acknowledged that she wanted to remain open to new experiences, like getting married.

Mel C and Chris Dingwall tied the knot on July 18, 2026. It was a private ceremony at Country House Cumbria in Castle Carrock. The place was situated in England's picturesque Lake District.
For those unaware, the venue holds special meaning for Mel, as it is owned by her longtime friend Ben Forster. The duo has even featured in Jesus Christ Superstar in 2013.
In fact, Mel C also chose a custom-made white backless wedding gown designed by fellow Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. However, she was unable to attend the wedding because she was in the United States with her husband, David Beckham, for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, Mel's 17-year-old daughter was her bridesmaid.
Except for Victoria, the other Spice Girls members, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie B, and Emma Bunton, attended the celebration. The wedding also had a lighthearted moment when a nearby herd of cows wandered toward the outdoor ceremony as the couple stood at the altar.
