Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips were married for 14 years

Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips first met at a celebrity poker game in 2004. Although Bijou refused to give a direct answer to the possibilities of a marriage in 2008, she eventually tied the knot with Danny in 2011. The duo had a private wedding ceremony. Danny and Bijou welcomed a daughter named Fianna Francis in February 2014. However, Danny was sentenced on charges of s*xual assault in September 2023, and Bijou reportedly filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences in the same month. 

While speaking to TMZ in September 2023, Bijou's attorney, Lauzon Paluch, said that Bijou's daughter is her only priority after filing for divorce. Lauzon said that Danny's legal issues have brought a tough phase for the entire family, and despite these problems, Danny has ensured to be present for Bijou during her difficult times. Lauzon also claimed that Bijou has always praised the fact that Danny has been a "wonderful father." A report by TMZ in October 2025 confirmed that Danny and Bijou were legally single.
