Bollywood celeb couple, Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra are undoubtedly a match made in heaven. The actor-producer duo rarely make a public appearance together, but their chemistry speaks volumes about their love for one another. For the unversed, Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding ceremony in Italy on April 21, 2014. Later, the couple hopped onto the parenthood journey with the arrival of their daughter, Adira Chopra, in 2015.
For those who don't know, Aditya Chopra was Rani Mukerji's close friend, Payal Khanna's husband, when the rumours about the actress dating him surfaced online. Back in 2011, Rani Mukerji appeared in a talk show on Star News, and the actress spilled some beans about her bond with Aditya Chopra. When Rani was asked why her name was constantly being linked to her friend, Payal Khanna's husband, Aditya Chopra, she denied all the rumours and said:
"Ye to aapko rumours walo se puchna padega na, kyu naam aa raha hai. He is a friend, he is a person I have worked with in so many films. I have great regard for him."

Further, the host probed Rani about the possibility of her being romantically involved with Aditya Chopra, the actress refuted all claims. However, the discussion didn't stop there. The host again mentioned how Rani did back-to-back films with the Chopra clan and asked her to reveal the reason behind the same. Responding to the claims, Rani said:
"Mai to chahungi mai Chopra clan ke sath aur bhi films karu. They are absolutely stunning in the way they make the films, to main to chahungi main unke sath aur films karun. But wo abhi mujhe le nahi rahe hain kyunki meri films chal nahi rahi hain. Jab meri films chal rahi thi to mujhe le rahe the, but now, Adi is obviously not signing me, he is signing other actresses."
Now that the video has resurfaced on social media and doing rounds on Reddit, netizens are trolling Rani for lying about being in a romantic relationship with Aditya Chopra back then. While some took a dig at her saint image, others called her a homewrecker. Moreover, one social media user also claimed that Rani is manipulative as she makes her fans believe whatever she wants to. Not many know that Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra didn't start on the right foot when they met each other for the first time. It so happened that Aditya had seen Rani’s acting talents in the film, Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat and had suggested her name to his friend, Karan Johar, who was then auditioning for the film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Though Adi tells me that after my first film Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat, he has a very vivid memory of seeing me in Sampan restaurant, where much as he had expected, I did not walk up to him to say a hi even though DDLJ had already released and he was already Aditya Chopra. Since actresses would usually walk up and introduce themselves to him, he found it strange.”
