Summer House Reunion's first episode was full of drama and shocking revelations, courtesy of Amanda Batula and West Wilson's piping hot relationship soup. People and their friends are all questioning their relationship timeline, as many believed that Amanda was married when she started dating West. On the other hand, new claims reveal that West Wilson had a girlfriend while he was secretly hooking up with Amanda.

In the first episode, West and Amanda were questioned about their first kiss and when they slept together. The new lovebirds told host, Andy Cohen and the rest of their castmates that they kissed each other at the end of February 2026, following a brunch. However, Amanda quickly added that they didn't sleep together till they released their 'statement' of being together. 

It is worth adding that Amanda Batula and West Wilson's shocking statement in March 2026 left many disappointed, as many questioned the nature of their relationship. For the unversed, Amanda separated from her husband, Kyle Cooke, in January 2026. On the other hand, West Wilson dated Amanda's best friend and co-star, Ciara Miller. Many believed that their relationship started earlier than the two admitted.

More spice was added to the drama when Ciara confronted Amanda and West. She questioned them about the reason for hiding their relationship and revealed that she felt hurt and betrayed, especially because she had been close friends with Amanda. She accused the two of hiding their relationship and adding more strain on their friendship.

However, the shocking point of the episode was when it was revealed that West was in an active relationship with another woman. Many reports claimed that the woman who was with West claimed that she was exclusive before he announced his relationship with Amanda. Ciara highlighted West's secret girlfriend and said:

"Probably the reason why it was so confusing is because you had a girlfriend, Meija."

West quickly clarified that she wasn't his girlfriend but rather someone he was seeing. To which Ciara clapped back and said a probable girlfriend. Meanwhile, Lindsay Hubbar revealed that, as per Meija, she and West were exclusive at the same time he was also dating Amanda. Lindsay further revealed that Meija also claimed that West spent the night with her in March before appearing on another show. However, Andy quickly questioned if he really spent the night with another woman; West confirmed it to be true. Then Andy questioned if Amanda knew about the woman, she said yes and didn't care.

It was on March 31, 2026, when Amanda Batula confirmed her relationship with 28-year-old West Wilson. The two shared identical Instagram stories and claimed that their relationship is at a very new stage. The two added that they never wanted to hide their relationship, and mentioned the complicated dynamics of their relationship. They further mentioned being part of each other's highs and lows as friends, and the way their relationship has developed is something they never expected. The statement can be read as:

"It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it. We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
