'Welcome To The Jungle' Cast Fees, Ensemble Salaries Revealed While Akshay Kumar Denies Pay Claims

After a long wait of more than ten years, the Welcome franchise is finally getting expanded with Welcome to the Jungle. The movie was announced back in 2023 and witnessed multiple delays until a release date of June 26, 2026, was finalised. The initial announcement in 2023 created headlines due to the replacement of some iconic characters and the ensemble cast with faces that have been frequently featured in comedy films over the years.

The trailer was launched at a grand event, following which it was released on YouTube on June 11, 2026. Notably, the glimpse has hinted towards a comedy ride with a lot of action and other elements. Considering the big star cast, netizens have already started discussing how much each one of them has been paid for their appearance in the film. Keep reading to know more!

Akshay Kumar’s reported fee is leading to a lot of debate

While Welcome to the Jungle features an ensemble cast, viewers are expecting Akshay Kumar to carry the film on his shoulders as he did in similar movies like Housefull. Every outlet has reported a different figure for Akshay’s salary in the film. One particular source also mentioned that the actor allegedly received Rs. 90 crores. Notably, the makers have maintained silence on the matter for now.

Another rumour that started trending recently was a new claim, stating that Akshay charged only Rs. 1.8 crores. During a conversation with a journalist, Akshay dismissed the same, saying that he did not receive that much for the film. However, he said that the only thing that matters to him is that the film is written by the late writer, actor, and director, Neeraj Vora. Akshay continued by saying:

“Neeraj ji had a huge contribution to my career and in my learning comedy. He wrote the story and Firoz A. Nadiadwallah is also involved (as a producer). I have known him for 36 years. I used to know him since my struggling days and even today, I continue to struggle! It was a struggle to get him to the event.”

What is the salary of the other actors from the ensemble cast?

Welcome to the Jungle will mark the collaboration of some iconic pairs from Bollywood. This includes Akshay Kumar-Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar-Raveena Tandon, and more. Notably, Suniel Shetty’s fee is reported to be almost Rs. 4 crores, and Raveena Tandon has been paid Rs. 2 crores. On the other hand, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani have received Rs. 2.5 crores each. Lara Dutta, who is playing an important role, is being paid Rs. 2 crores.

Arshad Warsi and Paresh Rawal have reportedly charged Rs. 2 crores. The film has a lineup of many other popular faces. However, their fees have not been reported by any outlet so far. This includes Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Late Pankaj Dheer, Zakir Hussain, Kiran Kumar, and more. Television comedians Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda are also a part of the cast, along with veterans like Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and many others.
