Tributes have been pouring in on social media ever since the news of her demise went viral. Jennifer Runyon’s family revealed the news through Facebook, and the statement seemingly referred to a health battle. While the family did not confirm the cause of death, actress Erin Murphy wrote on Instagram that Jennifer died from cancer.

Jennifer Runyon made her acting debut with To All a Goodnight, released in 1980. She started appearing on television in 1981, playing 'Sally Frame' in the NBC soap opera, Another World. Jennifer also gained recognition for her roles in shows like Charles in Charge and Space. Jennifer was featured as a female student in the 1984 supernatural comedy film, Ghostbusters. Furthermore, she was a part of television movies like A Very Brady Christmas and A Man Called Sarge. Corman was born in Santa Monica, California. Todd gained recognition for being associated with the 1988 film, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Apart from that, he even worked in two more movies, D3: The Mighty Ducks and Jingle All the Way. Both films were released in 1996.

Apart from working in films, Todd Corman has been a basketball coach at Loyola Marymount University for ten years, starting in 1985. He served in the same position at the College of Idaho between 1995 and 2001. Todd then joined the Oregon State University as an assistant coach in 2001. Four years later, he came to Concordia University, working as the head of the women’s basketball coach until 2008.

Jennifer Runyon and Todd Corman’s love story dates back to 1986 when they collaborated in a television film, Dreams of Gold: The Mel Fisher Story. Jennifer met Todd on the sets of the movie, and the latter was serving as an assistant director on the project. The duo tied the knot in 1991. They became the parents of a son named Wyatt in 1993. Two years later, the pair had a daughter, Bayley, in 1995. Notably, the birth of Wyatt also led to Jennifer’s long break from acting. Jennifer said in an interview in 2016 that she needed some time to be a mother. Runyon elaborated on the same, as she stated:

“I grew up in a family where my parents worked, and we had housekeepers and nannies, (My mom and dad were radio people) and I grew up with other people who were there every day. I didn’t want that for my kids, because I know all I wanted was my mom. I wanted to be a mom. I wanted to experience every moment. I didn’t want somebody calling me on the set going ‘Oh my God, Wyatt walked!” I wanted to be the one, if possible, that experienced that first.”

However, Jennifer’s daughter, Bayley, has followed her mother’s footsteps, appearing in a lot of films and TV shows so far. Bayley started her career by working in some commercials and eventually shifted to other fields, following her family’s arrival in southern Orange County, California.

In between pursuing her acting, Bayley also completed her high school and college and joined Loyola Marymount University in 2014. Bayley made her debut in Zeke and Luther, playing the role of 'Allie' in an episode of the show, which aired in 2010. She continued appearing on other TV shows like Faking It, Making Moves, and 2 Broke Girls. In 2017, Bayley made her film debut with The Hatred. Bayley has also made brief appearances in Modern Family, The Young and the Restless, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: Vegas, and 9-1-1. Bayley is known for her work on some movies like Most Likely to Murder and Fame at a Deadly Cost.
