Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Animal is still creating a lot of buzz even after 40 days of its release. The film, which has already earned Rs. 899 crores, is expected to cross 1000 crores. A success party was recently organized to commemorate the big achievement, and the entire cast of the film was present there. Veteran actor, Suresh Oberoi also marked his presence.
In an interview with BollywoodLife, actor Vivek Oberoi opened up about his father, Suresh Oberoi’s impactful role in Animal. Revealing how the director of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga thought Suresh Oberoi to be his lucky charm, Vivek said:
“I am very thankful for Sandeep Reddy Vanga to give this role to my father. Sandeep asked my father he has to do this role as after Kabir Singh he feels he is his lucky charm. He inisted my father saying, " Aapke liye mai ek chota sa role likhunga, aap please kar lo.” My father has created his niche in Bollywood and has worked in more than 400 films, but at the age of 70 he wants to relax and feels he should time spend time with his grandchildren.”

In the same interview, Vivek further stated that he dragged his father to the success party of Animal. Revealing how actor, Ranbir Kapoor behaved with him and his father at the success party, Vivek continued:
“Even for the Animal success party I dragged him to attend as it was his big day and I wanted him to enjoy, he was hesitant to come. And talking about Ranbir, oh man he is such a great boy, he is a superstar, he doesn't need to come to us and be so nice, as it was his day. But he came to meet my father, touched his feet, hugged me, and had a chat, he is a sweet boy".
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-anticipated film Animal was released on December 1, 2023, and starred Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles. The success party of the film took place on January 6, 2024 and saw the entire cast in attendance.

In an interview with Lehren Retro, Suresh Oberoi talked about his experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor. Calling him a wonderful person, he said:
“Ranbir is a wonderful guy and a wonderful actor and so very well-behaved. He has been given good values by Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. I sent a message to Neetu saying, ‘Apne bahut aache sanskar diye hai apne bete ko.’ He knows exactly how to behave, like a dignified person.”
