Yes, Virat and Anushka’s baby girl is soon going to be 5 months old, but the parents have managed to keep her away from the limelight. They had ensured that none of the pictures of their baby girl gets circulated online and had even requested the paps to understand their privacy. However, despite their requests, the ‘Virushka’ fans are eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of their little one.

For the unversed, it was on January 11, 2021, when Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had welcomed a little girl into their lives. Since then, the baby girl has been spotted with her star parents but always wrapped in clothes, hiding her face. It was on February 1, 2021, when mommy, Anushka Sharma had posted the first-ever family picture and had announced the name of their newborn daughter. Anushka had captioned the post as “We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.”
It is almost going to be 5 months to the birth of Vamika, but her face is a mystery for everyone. Virat Kohli hosted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session to interact with his followers and one of the users asked him about his daughter, Vamika. The user asked Virat about his daughter, Vamika’s name and her picture, “What is the meaning of Vamika, How is she? Can we see a glimpse of her please.” To this, Virat replied how he and his wife, Anushka have decided not to expose their child to social media. He replied, “Vamika is another name for goddess Durga. No we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.” Well, one user also asked Virat for his childhood picture, and we wonder if Vamika looks as cute as her daddy, when he was small.
In the same 'Ask Me Anything' session, we also witnessed a cute PDA moment between Virat and his wife, Anushka Sharma. Amongst all his fans, his wife, Anushka Sharma also dropped a question for him, asking, "Where have you kept my headphones?" and Virat's answer brought a wide smile to our faces. Answering the question asked by his wifey, Virat replied, "Always on the side next to the bed love" followed by a smiling and heart emoticon. Well, one user also asked Virat, "What do you do in your free time?" To this, Virat replied, "Relax and watch some nice tv shows with Anushka."
After Vamika’s birth, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had sent gift hampers to the paparazzi fraternity in Mumbai, urging them to respect their daughter’s privacy. Expressing their gratitude, the couple had written in their note, "As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support. While, we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same."

To mark International Women’s Day 2021, Virat Kohli had posted an adorable selfie of Anushka Sharma and Vamika Sharma Kohli. Expressing his feelings on witnessing the birth of his child, Virat had captioned the mother-daughter picture as “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also, a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world.”
