It is a happy time in the Roy family as their son, Vipul Roy embraced fatherhood with the arrival of his first child. The actor, who rose to fame with his acting stint in the show, FIR, welcomed a baby girl with his wife, Melis Atici. On February 20, 2022, Vipul and Melis tied the knot as per Hindu rituals, and pictures of their wedding had gone viral.
For the shaadi, Vipul had worn a cream-coloured sherwani with a red-hued doshala and a turban. On the other hand, his wife, Melis had donned a red-hued lehenga. However, it was the blessing 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava' on her choli that accentuated her look. Alongside it, Vipul had bared his heart out on how the duo had exchanged the rings in 2018 and had thought of getting married in 2020, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

On September 8, 2022, Vipul took to his Instagram handle and posted a cutesy video to announce the arrival of his angel. In the video, we can see Melis' hand in Vipul's hand as they opened it, and their baby's tiny hand comes out. Alongside it, the elated daddy revealed that he is blessed with a baby girl. The note can be read as:
"And it’s a Girl. Welcome our baby girl on 08.09.2022. Thank you for your love & blessings."
On June 18, 2022, Vipul revealed that he is going to be a father soon. He had posted a picture with Melish from their wedding. The duo was lost in each other's eyes. Along with it, the actor penned that he is soon going to be a father. He had written:
"Happy to announce father soon."
A while ago, Vipul shared a monochrome picture with his wife, Melis. In the picture, he was seen giving a peck on his wife, Melis full-grown baby bump. Along with it, Vipul had penned a heartfelt note and how the time to meet his baby has come closer. He had written:
"Coming closer to make what was once a thought then a dream and now soon will be a reality."
