Television actor, Vipul Roy had tied the knot with the love of his life, Melis Atici on December 27, 2021. However, they had met each other back in 2016 and had fallen head over heels in love with one another. Melis Atici runs a US-based IT company, and after dating and living in together for a few years, Vipul and Melis had exchanged their rings in October 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Well, after being married for more than five months, the couple, Vipul and Melis have now announced their pregnancy news to the world. And in a media interaction, the actor shared insights about their pregnancy journey and opened up about how they are managing their long-distance marriage.

In an interview with ETimes, Vipul Roy confirmed the pregnancy news of his wife, Melis Atici and revealed how much he is excited to be a father. Talking about the same, the daddy-to-be shared that he can't wait and said:
"Yes, Melis is pregnant and we are expecting our baby in September or October. I am really excited and waiting to experience fatherhood."
Further going into the conversation, when Vipul was asked, as Melis is staying in San Fransisco and he is in India, how they are planning to shift their base for their baby, the actor mentioned that they are yet to decide on that. He shared:
"We are yet to decide on that. We are trying to build a bridge between the two countries for our baby, so we can make things easier! My work is such that I can't quit and migrate to another country. I have a few acting contracts, which I can't breach. I will be staying here, Melis may decide to come to Mumbai, let's see how it goes. As I said, nothing is finalised yet, we are still planning it all out. We don't even know yet if she will be delivering the baby in India or the US."

On February 20, 2022, Vipul had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a series of pictures from his wedding with his ladylove, Melis. In the photos, the duo had looked stunning in their respective ensembles. While Vipul had donned a cream-coloured sherwani with red pagdi, his bride, Melis had worn a red-coloured shaadi ka joda that had featured a customised blessing Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava on her choli. Sharing them, Vipul had penned a heartfelt note that could be read as:
"MARRIED! There is so much to write & share but in a short note. It was a decision that we took when we got engaged in October 2018 that we shall Tie the knot in 2020. But before we could announce our wedding, covid announced its outbreak to the world & the rest is history. After 3 long years of wait we JUST GOT MARRIED. As much as we wanted to invite all our friends & extended family from all over the world but we couldn’t. Even Melis’s family couldn’t make it because of the timeline & travel restrictions. But we also know that your love and support for us is unbiased."
