Vin Diesel recently came into the headlines as he gave a special speech for his late co-star, Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker. The moment was captured during a screening of The Fast and the Furious at the Cannes Film Festival on May 13, 2026. Released in 2001, the film has completed 25 years. Vin Diesel said at the event that he was not going to arrive alone and celebrate the relationships he formed with the franchise. The actor mentioned that the reason for the same was Meadow Walker.
For the unversed, Paul Walker died years ago in an accident in 2013, two years before the release of Fast & Furious 7. Apart from Paul, Vin also became a part of the franchise since the first film. Vin Diesel will reprise his role in the final installment, releasing in 2028. The actor has been featured in many other movies over the years and is the father of three children. Vin Diesel shares three children with his wife, Paloma Jimenez. The duo's eldest child, Hania Riley Sinclair, was born in 2008. She has been pursuing a career as an actor. According to IMDb, Hania gave her voice to 'Sissy Benson' in the TV series, Fast & Furious Spy Racers, from 2019 to 2021. Hania has even accompanied her father to various events and has formed a close friendship with Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow. Hania was also the maid of honor when Meadow tied the knot with Louis Thornton-Allan.

Vin has previously said in an interview on Good Morning America that he was present at the time of Hania’s delivery. Vin said that he did it because of Paul Walker. The actor addressed the same by saying:
“I say to Paul, ‘You know, should I be in the delivery room or how’s that going to work?’ And he says, ‘You know, so many guys will tell you, ‘Don’t do it… you can’t stomach it… you’ll never look at the girl the same,’ [but] it’s the best thing you’ll ever do in your life.’”

Vin Diesel’s second child, Vincent Sinclair, has already started his journey in the acting world. Vincent has portrayed the young version of 'Dominic Toretto,' played by his father, in F9, released in 2021. “We’ve been making these movies for so long, that every time one of my children were born, I was usually working on a Fast and Furious movie. So the director and the cast all have their own relationship with my children. And it was [Lin’s] idea for my son to play young Dom.”
Compared to the other two children, Vin Diesel’s third child, Pauline Sinclair, has not started her acting career yet. The 11-year-old still shares a close relationship with Paul Walker’s daughter, and she was a kid when she became interested in cars. Her first favourite car was a ’69 Dodge Daytona. Vin Diesel said that he figured out his daughter’s favourite car after witnessing her fighting with the other kids when they were playing cards.

Pauline has also appeared with her father on Jimmy Kimmel’s show in 2023. Notably, Vin went to the show as part of promoting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the father-daughter duo participated in a segment, The Guillermo Show. Born in 2015, Pauline’s name is taken from Paul Walker. Vin spoke up about it in an interview with Today and said:
“He was in the room [when she was born]. There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting his umbilical cord. I just… knew he was there. It felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world.”
