Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will soon be getting married. The couple has officially confirmed their wedding date for February 26, 2026, with the hashtag, 'VIROSH'. Speculations around the couple's wedding have been making headlines for a while now. Recently, the lovebirds were spotted at the airport as they headed off to their wedding venue. Reports suggest that the couple's wedding will take place at Mementos by ITC Hotels in Udaipur, a venue located about 25 kilometres outside the city in the scenic Aravalli. And now, a News18 report has revealed details about their pre-wedding soirees.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's wedding has been the talk of the town for a while now. And with the wedding day just around the corner, fans have been waiting for an update on what the celebrity couple has decided for their big day. Amid that, News18 has finally shared some insight into the menu for the lavish dinner party the couple will be throwing for their families and guests tonight at the venue. The report stated:

"As Vijay and Rashmika gear up for their big day, they’re hosting a big party. Top in-house chefs are coming together to curate a special bespoke menu. The elaborate spread will include some of their favourite dishes. It marks one of their first pre-wedding get-togethers."

Reports suggested that the couple has decided to keep their wedding private, with only close family and friends in attendance. According to insiders, the couple has made the decision not to invite members of the film industry to maintain an intimate celebration. However, following their Udaipur wedding, the couple plans a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026, reportedly at Taj Krishna, that will see their friends, colleagues and all the top names from the Telugu film industry in attendance.

Another report making the rounds is that both Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been closely involved in the wedding preparations. The alleged closed-door event is being deemed as one of the biggest celebrity weddings in recent times. The actors are personally looking into the themes, colour palettes, and decorations. Security has already been tightened at Udaipur's Mementos.

Security has also been hightened at the venue, as Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna don't want pictures from the venue leaked. As per speculations, the actors have also declined a Rs. 60 crore streaming offer for their wedding video. In the shared heartfelt announcement, they revealed that their wedding will officially be known as 'The Wedding of VIROSH'. The couple stated that the name was not inspired by planners or family traditions, but by their fans, who years ago lovingly joined their names to create 'VIROSH'. The note could be read as:

"Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today, with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it, ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us, always. Biggest hugs and full love!"
