However, later, a close source of the duo debunked all such claims. And now, Vijay finally reacted to all such rumours.
In a recent interview with Lifestyle Asia, Vijay Deverakonda finally reacted to all the reports about his personal life. The actor mentioned that he is not getting married or engaged in February 2024. The actor also slammed shut all the rumours and said that he hears such speculations once every year, and it seems like people just want to catch him and get him married. Vijay said:
"I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”

Earlier, a report from News18 Telugu said Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna would soon get engaged, and they would make an announcement about the same while confirming their relationship. However, it is worth mentioning that no official confirmation about the same was made.
On the other hand, another close source told the Hindustan Times that all such rumours are nothing but fake and shared that the alleged couple is not thinking about getting married or engaged anytime soon. The source also debunked all the claims about making their relationship official and mentioned that Vijay and Rashmika are very private people. The source mentioned that the rumoured lovebirds are not thinking about going public with their relationship anytime soon. Moreover, the source also added that the alleged couple are currently living together, and they are happy and content with where their relationship is currently. They are also reportedly focused on their respective careers, which is why they are in no rush to get engaged.
It was a few days back when, amid the ongoing buzz about her wedding, one of Rashmika's comments on a fan's post went viral. In the tweet, one of Rashmika's photos was attached, and it was written, "You are our National Crush Mam. I hope one day I will get a wife like you." To this, Rashmika penned a cutesy caption, which caught our attention. Rashmika wrote that she, too, wants to be found as wonderful in her future hubby's eyes.

Now and then, reports about Rashmika and Vijay's alleged relationship make rounds in the media. On the other hand, netizens rushed to her alleged beau, Vijay's profile, and dug out a photo, wherein the actor could be seen posing from the exact same place as Rashmika. There is no second thought about the fact that netizens didn't take enough time to join the dots as they started speculating that the alleged couple had been living together.
