The photos were originally posted on February 4, 2024, by the actress, wherein she could be seen striking some sexy poses in a printed bikini. Earlier, in an interview with India.com, Vidya Malvade shared that she went to watch the movie, Chak De! India, on the very first day, and there were barely 20-30 people in the theatre. Sharing why there had been so little audience, the actress recalled the horrifying comments she bagged after the promos were released when she and the other girls in the movie were tagged as 'kaali kaali ladkiyaan'. Vidya could be quoted as saying:
“I just saw the first-day first show and there were barely 20-30 people in the theatre because when the promos had been released, everybody was like yeh kya hai, what is Yash Raj doing, Shah Rukh Khan is doing this film with these girls, who are all ‘kaali kaali ladkiyan,’ they look like mines and all. I remember that sentence so well.”
