Popular actress, Vidya Balan needs no introduction. She is extremely loved for her acting skills, flaunting her shape-size proudly and sartorial choices. Despite being a successful actress, she is also a loving wife to the former CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, Siddharth Roy Kapur. For the unversed, the duo dated for a few years before finally tying the knot on December 14, 2012, in Mumbai. Now, in a conversation, the Hum Paanch actress opened up about the cupid which played between Vidya and Siddharth, and they became each other's forever.
In an interview with the Humans Of Bombay, Vidya revealed that it was during 2010, when she had been shooting for her then-upcoming film, No One Killed Jessica, produced by UTV, when she met the love of her life, Siddharth Roy Kapur for the first time. Even though Siddharth's former producing house produced the film, Vidya wasn't acquainted with him. Neither had she interacted with Siddharth. Finally, when Vidya went to Mumbai to attend the Filmfare Awards and had an early morning flight back, she was introduced to him. After having a polite conversation about the film shoot, the actress recalled that Siddharth had turned out to be a "very good-looking, charming man".

In the same conversation, Vidya mentioned her frequent meetings with Siddharth. Finally, she revealed that they had ended up at Karan Johar's place, from where their love story had begun. Elaborating about an intentional party, Vidya shared:
"Life was bringing us together a lot at that time. We ended up at a party together at Karan's place. Karan has played Cupid in this relationship. He invited me to a party at his house and I was a bit [surprised] because I didn't really know him. I [felt] how sweet."
Further, she shared that when amidst the party, Siddharth came forward, and they had a beautiful chat that night. Undoubtedly, it was the most cherishable moment of their lives. Later, she learned that the intentional meet was planned by none other than the ace producer and manifestation king, Karan Johar. She added:
"I went to his house and I didn't really know most of the others. I was a bit shy and Siddharth walks in and because we had just watched [a] play together, we ended up having a chat. That's when probably something happened that night. Later of course, I got to know that Karan had wanted us to meet. This was an intentional invitation. And it worked."

Ever since Vidya tied the knot with Siddharth, rumour mills never miss a chance to doubt her pregnancy. For instance, on July 28, 2022, when Vidya appeared at one of her friends from B-town, Huma Qureshi's birthday bash, her looks were questioned once again. In the glimpses shared by a paparazzi page, Vidya looked stunning in a co-ord set. However, it was her way of walking that ignited pregnancy rumours, and it seemed like she was trying to hide her tummy. On the work front, Siddharth's own production house, Roy Kapur Films, produced films like The Sky Is Pink, Yeh Ballet, and series like Aranyak and Rocket Boys. On the other hand, Vidya will be next seen in her two upcoming films, Neeyat and Lovers, from this year.
