Popular actor, Mithilesh Chaturvedi is no longer with us. The incredibly-talented actor was known for his method acting and ability to pull off any character, regardless of its complexities and layers. From working with A-list actors to being a part of big-budget movies, Mithilesh was a household name, and his untimely demise has definitely created a massive void in the film industry. Some of the most notable movies in which Mithilesh has worked are the likes of Koi… Mil Gaya, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Satya, Mohalla Assi, Krrish, Ready, Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani, and Bunty Aur Babli.

For most of his life, Mithilesh Chaturvedi had always remained low-key as he hardly made an appearance at awards functions and celebrity parties. Also, not much is known about his personal life. However, if reports are to be believed, Mithilesh was a married man and a father of a daughter, Niharika Chaturvedi. Other than this, there are not many details about his family in the media.

Reports were rife that veteran actor, Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away at the age of 67 in his hometown, Lucknow. As per the reports, Mithilesh died on August 3, 2022, due to a heart ailment. However, in the beginning, many people considered the media reports to be a hoax. However, soon to everyone's disappointment, Mithilesh's son-in-law, Ashish confirmed his demise with a heartbreaking note in which he shared how his father-in-law always treated him like his own son. Soon many people started sharing their condolences to Mithilesh's family and loved ones. The doting son-in-law's note can be read as:

"Aap duniya ke sabse ache pita (father) the, Aaone mujhe damaad nahin balki ek bete ki tarah apna prem dia."

Apart from being an exceptionally talented actor, whose biggest quality was getting inside any character's skin, he was also a fun-loving person. From playing comic roles to impressing critics with his villainous characters, it'll be incredibly tough to find an actor of this stature again. Mithilesh Chaturvedi was one of the few actors in India, who has gained success in television, films, and the OTT platform.

The late veteran actor, Mithilesh Chaturvedi had worked in the critically-acclaimed web series, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, in which he had portrayed the character of late criminal lawyer, Ram Jethmalani. The iconic actor was last seen in the film, Gulabo Sitabo, in which he had shared the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.
