Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding rumours have been hitting the headlines for quite some time now, and finally the lovebirds are getting married. Varun, who had made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film, Student Of The Year, is head-over-heels in love with his childhood sweetheart, Natasha Dalal. Earlier, the lovely couple was supposed to tie the knot in 2020 but owing to the outbreak of COVID-19, their wedding was postponed and now it is reported that Varun and Natasha are soon going to take their wedding vows. Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s love story is the most adorable one. When Varun had proposed Natasha, she had rejected him multiple times but he didn’t give up. Varun loves sharing glimpses of his love for his lady, Natasha. And now, the two are set to tie the knot on January 24, 2021 and we are hooked to our social media handles to get every detail about the much-awaited wedding of the year.
A few minutes back, the soon-to-be-dulha, Varun Dhawan was clicked as he reached the wedding venue in Alibaug. Dressed in a white t-shirt and denims with sunglasses, Varun looked his casual best. With a guest list of 50 people, Varun and Natasha will have an intimate ceremony according to the Hindu rituals. As Varun has reached the venue, we cannot wait to see glimpses of their pre-wedding functions.
Varun and Natasha's wedding preparations had begun on January 22, 2021. While scrolling through our social media timeline, we had gotten glimpses of gifts, sweets and other items being delivered to the Dhawan residence. Apart from this, we had also got a hold of pictures of Natasha's pre-wedding outfits being packed and transported from Mumbai to Alibaug. On Kareena Kapoor Khan's talk show, What Women Want, Varun Dhawan had revealed that he had met Natasha for the first time when they were in the sixth standard. Varun had then cleared that they weren't dating back then and were just close friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. Reminiscing about the time when he had realised he had fallen for Natasha, Varun had said that she was in the yellow house and he was in the red house, and it was on the basketball court. In the lunch break, he saw her walking, and it was that moment for him that he had realised he was in love with her. Varun had then revealed that Natasha had rejected his proposal multiple times, but he did not give up on her.
Kareena Kapoor Khan had then confirmed the couple's engagement by referring to Natasha as Varun's fiancee. Talking about getting married to Natasha, Varun had said, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long... I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, ‘This is good.’” Varun had also talked about how the couple would have opted for a live-in relationship, but the Badlapur actor's parents had wanted them to get married. He had said, "Natasha and her parents have been pretty chill in that sense but I think after a certain period, you decide that you want to live with each other. She and I wouldn’t have minded a live-in relationship but my parents wanted us... Because I have my own place now."
