Natasha Dalal recently attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding on March 10, 2019, and we could spot Varun’s parents- David Dhawan and Karun Dhawan with her. Sharing a picture on his Insta stories from the same, Varun Dhawan had written, “My parents gave up on me and adopted another” atop it. Naturally, the Dhawan family has accepted his girlfriend, Natasha Dalal, completely. With their dinner dates and outings and getting snapped every now and then, we can’t wait for Varun and Natasha’s wedding to take place.
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal were reportedly getting engaged on April 24, 2019, on October star’s birthday. In fact, a Deccan Chronicle report had claimed that the Dhawan family were formally going to announce Varun’s wedding with Natasha on April 24. That didn’t happen obviously, and a Pinkvilla report has now reasoned out the same. A source has shared with the tabloid, “We heard the plan was to announce Coolie No. 1 and bring Varun’s girlfriend Natasha out on the stage as the bahu of the Dhawan family. But there were last-minute changes of plan and Varun flew out of the country for his birthday with his girlfriend. Varun is very busy right now. He needs to take time off from his schedule and devote time to engagement and wedding. It will all happen in due course.”
During the promotions of his recent release, Kalank, Varun Dhawan had told Filmfare that his ladylove is his rock and his anchor. He was quoted as saying, “She (Natasha) and I went to school together. So, she knows my parents for ages. She’s been attending functions with my parents before also but it wasn’t photographed then. She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilising factor in my life. Varun Dhawan had recently shared, in an interview, his reasons for being in a relationship with Natasha Dalal. Applauding her sense of individuality, the 32-year-old actor had said, “That's why I'm with her because she has her own individuality, she has her own voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support, you know. And, she has been so supportive where my career is concerned, always, from day one actually.”
Considering that Varun has been with Natasha since his school days, he was asked by a media portal if Natasha and his love for her affect his film choices. He had replied, “Actually, I decided to do a film like Badlapur or October because of her. It's because of her and some of our friends that I do slightly different films. They like such kind of cinema. What's special about our relationship is that I have someone, who isn't with me just because I'm an actor. It's amazing to have someone like that in your life. We bond over each other and that's the main thing. We've known each other for too long, so the connection is deep. It's like a family. It's always been so.”
Coming back to their much-awaited wedding, Varun had recently broken his silence on the matter and had confirmed that the wedding is not happening anytime soon. He had shared in a media interaction, “It’s not happening right now as I am busy with all my releases.
