Taking to her IG handle, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar dropped glimpses from her low-key engagement ceremony with the art gallerist, Nicholai Sachdev. For the day, the actress was decked up in traditional attire. Varalaxmi looked pretty in a white-hued Kasavu saree, which she teamed with a red-hued blouse featuring silver work all over. The colour contrast of the saree and the blouse made the entire attire look extra classy. Varalaxmi teamed her saree with a huge diamond choker that had scalloped pattern and a pair of dangling earrings. She opted for a sheen touch of makeup, including a dewy base, blushy cheeks, glossy lips, and soft-smokey eyes.

The actress left her hair in a tied bun, which was adorned with gajra. A bindi added the final touch to her engagement look. On the other hand, Varalaxmi's fiance, Nicholai Sachdev looked handsome in a white kurta and Kasavu dhoti. A pair of red shades added stars to his look. In several photos, Varalaxmi and Nicholai can be seen posing with their family members as they celebrate their union by taking a step forward to their forever journey. Well, it's worth mentioning that, as per several reports, Varalaxmi and Nicholai have known each other for 14 years now. Some reports even claimed that Varalaxmi and Nicholai are going to get married in the upcoming months of this year.
For those who don't know, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the stepdaughter of director-actress, Radhika Sarathkumar. However, talking about her professional front, Varalaxmi was last seen in Prashant Varma’s HanuMan, which brought her immense success. Among others, Varalaxmi's notable works include Veer Simha Reddy, Yashoda, Michael, Vikram Vedha, Maari 2, and Agent. As per several reports, the diva is soon going to act in a Tamil movie, which will be written and directed by the famous actor, Dhanush.

As per several sources available in the media, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's fiance, Nicholai Sachdev was earlier married to Kavitha, who reportedly took part in the Miss Globe 2011 pageant in California in 2007. As per several other reports, Nicholai's first wife, Kavitha, also bagged the title of Mrs Gladrags back in 2010. The duo reportedly parted ways due to their differences. However, it's also known that Nicholai and Kavitha have a 15-year-old daughter who is a weightlifting champion now.
