Vaishali had made her debut in the television world with the very popular soap opera, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, wherein she had played the role of Sanjana. Afterwards, she had appeared in many television serials like Sasural Simar Ka, Manmohini, Super sisters, Vish Aur Amrit and Yeh Vaada Raha. Vaishali was also awarded Colors’ Golden Petal Awards for playing Anjali in Sasural Simar Ka.
On April 26, 2021, Vishali Takkar took to her IG handle to share the news of her roka. The actress got rokafied to Dr Abhinandan Singh. Sharing the video, Vaishali wrote, "What’s yours will Ultimately find you even from another end of the world. #Rokafied To this Wonderful Man Dr. Abhinandan Singh AKA My Mr. Africa. #AbhiShali #rokaceremony."
For her intimate roka ceremony, Vaishali donned a plain red saree paired with a stylish, shimmery red blouse. Her choice of jewellery to go with the look were huge, silver statement earrings, which added radiance. Vaishali kept her makeup simple with red lips and curly hair. On the other hand, Dr Abhinandan looked dapper in an all-black look.

Earlier, Vaishali Takkar was rumoured to be dating Tum Hi Ho Bandhu fame, Kabeer K a.k.a Ajay. These two were rumoured to be dating back in the year 2017 and their lovey-dovey posts on their respective Instagram handles were proof of the same. When a leading news portal had quizzed Kabeer about his love life with Vaishali, he had denied the news saying, “It’s a false news, we are just good friends.” When Vaishali was contacted regarding the same, she had said, “We both are more than good friends and are the support system to each other.”
For the uninitiated, Vaishali Thakkar was born in a Punjabi family on July 15, 1993, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Her family had shifted to Indore during her childhood. She has done her graduation from Devi Ahilya University, Indore.
