With 48 years of marital bliss, the seniors, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have reinstated our faith in love. After falling in love with his Ek Nazar co-star, Amitabh had broken the hearts of millions of girls and had married his ladylove, Jaya Bhaduri in chat mangni, pat vyaah on June 3, 1973.
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have weaved their happy paradise with their children, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan, son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Nikhil Nanda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. From birthdays to festivals, we have seen this pariwar celebrate every big or small occasion together.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon an unseen picture of Amitabh Bachchan with his kids, Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. In the throwback picture, baby Abhishek looked cute, while sitting on the grass and staring at his hand. Whereas, Shweta looked at her baby brother with a doll in her hand while papa, Amitabh posed for the camera.
The Bachchan clan loves taking a trip down their memory lane and sharing old pictures from their archives. On Siblings Day, 2020, Shweta Bachchan had taken to her Instagram handle to post an adorable monochrome picture from her and her brother, Abhishek Bachchan's childhood days. In the picture, the brother-sister duo could be seen sitting and happily posing for the camera with the biggest smile. She had captioned the post as "Partner in rhyme and crime, for a lifetime #siblingsday.”
When Abhishek and Shweta had graced Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee With Karan season 6, they had revealed lot of things about their family. On the same show, junior Bachchan had confessed that his father, Amitabh Bachchan is more fond of Shweta as compared to him. And Shweta had revealed how Abhishek had always been their mother, Jaya Bachchan’s favourite.

When Shweta had turned 47 on March 17, 2021, Abhishek had shared an old picture with his didi. In the picture, the brother-sister duo had happily posed as papa, Amitabh Bachchan carried them in his arms. Along with the picture, Abhishek had written, “Happy birthday to the big sis. Love you.”
On Father’s Day in 2018, Abhishek had posted a throwback picture with his dad, Amitabh Bachchan. In the picture, Big B was seen helping Abhishek to walk as he holds his hands. Captioning the black-and-white picture, Abhishek had written, “For holding my hand and guiding my through it all... For teaching my by leading by example... For still holding my hand and for your unending love and support. Happy Father's Day! Love you Pa. @amitabhbachchan”.
