From complementing each other perfectly to laughing their hearts out during various rasams, Ranbir and Alia's union was certainly the biggest wedding of the season.
For the wedding ceremony, Alia Bhatt had ditched the usual red lehenga and had instead opted for an ivory-hued saree from ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She had paired her attire with a veil and matching jewellery. On the other hand, Ranbir had complemented her in a matching sherwani.

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding, we are in for a treat as social media is abuzz with unseen glimpses from their pre and post wedding ceremonies. On May 14, 2022, Alia Bhatt took to her IG handle and shared some adorable pictures with Ranbir from their wedding festivities. The first picture featured Alia and Ranbir embraced in each other's arms, looking lovingly at each other, the second and third pictures were from their reception party.
On April 16, 2022, Alia Bhatt had shared some glimpses from her mehendi ceremony on her IG handle. In the pictures, Alia had looked stunning in a fuchsia pink-coloured lehenga paired with a strapped blouse with heavy embroidery. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor had complemented her in a matching kurta-pyjama. While one picture had Neetu and Ranbir dancing their hearts out, the other one had shown Ranbir, holding a photo frame of his late father, Rishi Kapoor.

In an interview with Film Companion, Neetu Kapoor had opened up about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's intimate wedding. Talking about the same, Neetu had shared that that the family had been planning the wedding for two years and Ranbir and Alia had wanted to have a destination wedding in South Africa. However, the duo had ended up having a beautiful ceremony at their home. Talking about the best part of the wedding, Neetu had retorted:
"Everything was beautiful. The best part was that the baarat-- it went from the fifth floor to the seventh floor. We were performing bhangra on the passage, we were just going crazy. I wanted to have a ghodi (horse at baarat) and all that, but then also they felt that if the ghodi will come then the paps will come. So I said forget that. Ranbir and Alia had planned so much that 'we'll go to South Africa, we'll do a recee,' and eventually, where did they do it? At their home. Since two years we were planning we'll go here, and we were seeing pictures. We were going absolutely nuts. But this was the best, and she looked so beautiful."
