'Preparing For Wife's Last Rites..' Twisha Sharma's Husband Surrenders In Court After Being On Run

Twisha Sharma's death has shaken the entire nation. The former model-actress, in her last moment, pleaded with her parents to take her away, but they kept telling her to ignore whatever was going on. In a sudden turn of events, Twisha took the drastic step and was found dead. While her parents believe there is foul play, the in-laws have a different story. Amidst it, Twisha's lawyer husband went missing after police registered an FIR, and the court dismissed his plea for interim bail.

Twisha Sharma's husband surrenders in Jabalpur Court

Twisha Sharma's husband, Samarth, has arrived at Jabalpur District Court to surrender. His lawyer informed the MP High Court that Samarth was ready to surrender before the trial court or Katara Police Station in Bhopal. However, the matter has been adjourned for further hearing. The lawyer further stated that he was preparing for his wife's last rites and that Samarth would withdraw the anticipatory bail plea.  The counsel said:

"He will surrender immediately. He has to prepare for his wife’s last rites."

All about Twisha Sharma's case 

Twisha Sharma was a 33-year-old former actress hailing from Noida. She was found dead at her marital home on May 12, 2026. Her father and mother accused her in-laws of dowry harassment and abetment to suicide. On the other hand, Twisha's in-laws claimed that she was addicted to drugs and took self-abortion pills to abort her child. The post-mortem report by AIIMS Bhopal claimed that Twisha died by suicide, but her family doesn't believe it. They urged a second autopsy and asked the court to look into the matter, as the clock is ticking.

Twisha Sharma's WhatsApp text revealed her state of mind and the torture she underwent

Twisha Sharma was from Noida and got married to a Bhopal-based advocate, Samarth Singh, in December 2025. She moved to Bhopal after marriage, and things took an ugly turn within five months. Recently, her WhatsApp texts to her mother five days before her death have been making the rounds on the internet. They further added to the allegations made by her family, who have been accusing her husband, Samarth and her mother-in-law, who is a retired judge, of mental harassment, domestic violence and physical abuse. 

Twisha was found hanging at her residence in Bhopal's Katara Hills area. But her family denies the suicide theory and claims that she was murdered. They even raised questions on the police probe in Bhopal and wanted a fresh post-mortem examination. The WhatsApp texts, which are now surfacing, are dated from May 7, 2026, five days before Twisha's death.

Twisha further wrote in another WhatsApp text that her in-laws think that she takes drugs, and this is why her mood changes. She added that they do not know that their son has left her, which upsets her mood. She further wrote in the text that she should take her home as her husband doesn't want her. Twisha also stated that her husband asked her whose child it was. She said:

"Mujhe puch raha hai vo kiska bacha tha, aur mai ignore karu? Kaisi aurat ho ap. Ye apne ghatiya pane ki her limit cross karke baitha hai. Kaise reh lun iske sath."
