It has been 20 days since Twisha Sharma passed away in her Katara Hill, Bhopal, residence. What initially looked like a suicide soon turned into something far more complicated after the actress's family alleged that Twisha was being tortured and abused for dowry, and it was her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh and husband, Samarth Singh's actions that allegedly forced her to take such a drastic step. Now, while the CBI is looking into what happened on May 12, 2026, a witness in the case has allegedly had to pay the price for standing up for Twisha.
Ever since the CBI has taken over the case, things have been moving at a rapid pace in Twisha Sharma's death investigations. Several teams are looking into different aspects of the actress's death. However, amid that, a new and serious development has emerged in the high-profile case. According to reports, a witness in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) panchnama in the case named Neeraj Dubey has allegedly been forced to pay the price for testifying in Twisha's murder case.

According to reports, Neeraj Dubey has claimed that some friends of the main accused and the late actress, Twisha Sharma's husband, Samarth Singh, not only publicly assaulted and injured him, but also threatened to kill him if he didn't refuse to testify. Following this incident, he has sought police protection. It was revealed that Neeraj had been warned to stay away from the case if he wanted to stay unharmed.

According to reports making the rounds online, Neeraj Dubey, the witness in Twisha Sharma's murder case, runs Sanchi Parlour in the Katara Hills police station area. For the uninitiated, it is the same area where Twisha's husband, Samarth Singh, and mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, reside. When the Special Investigation Team (SIT) began its preliminary investigation into the suspicious death of Twisha Sharma, Neeraj Dubey was named as a witness in the Panchnama process. However, little did he know that he would become the target of Samarth's friends. Neeraj says that his involvement in the case has made him a target of some people.

According to the reports, the victim, Neeraj Dubey, has alleged that he was assaulted on May 30, 2026. It is said that around four to five people, including Twisha Sharma's husband and Samarth Singh's friend, Sandeep Bhattacharya, initiated an argument. Neeraj has claimed that Sandeep questioned him about his involvement in the case and asked why he had become a witness. However, as the argument escalated, he was assaulted and threatened with dire consequences. Neeraj has also alleged that the full video of the incident is also there, and it captures the entire assault.

Neeraj Dubey has now submitted a written application to the Katara Hills police station, demanding action against the accused, including Sandeep Bhattacharya. He has also alleged that the police have yet to take any stern action despite his complaint. However, the police officials have assured him that an investigation will be conducted and that appropriate action will be taken against those involved. Following the incident, the police called Neeraj to the police station and interrogated him.

CBI has been investigating several angles in Twisha Sharma's death case. A team is focused on recreating the death of Twisha to calibrate the statements of her husband, Samarth Singh and mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, as to what happened on May 12, 2026. Another team is cross-checking every medical record and statement regarding Twisha's health and Giribala's allegations about her drug use. A team is also looking into who helped Samarth Singh while he was on the run.
