The Twisha Sharma suicide case is seeing an interesting turn of events daily. Earlier details emerged that former judge, Giribala Singh's elder daughter-in-law had to sign an NDA and is subject to a gag order that prevents her from speaking in public. Now, Twisha Sharma's dad, Navnidhi Sharma, has revealed that his and his family's lives are in danger. He has been unhappy that the Twisha Sharma trial is taking place in Madhya Pradesh.

At one end, the Madhya Pradesh government had transferred Twisha Sharma's death investigation to the CBI. On the flip side, the elder daughter-in-law in Giribala Singh’s house not just divorced her son; she was made to sign an NDA to settle. Now, amid this, Twisha's father, Navnidhi, revealed how their lives are at risk and shared in an interview with Mojo Story that:

"Hamari jaan ko khatra hai. Sabse pehle yeh ki waha par kisi ko nai jante. Aapne dekha hoga ki court mei bhi hamare upar attack hua aur Jabalpur court mei bhi jo meda hai, uss par attack hua. Etne saare goons thei waha. Yeh khali influence ka hi matter nahi hai. Yaha hamari jaan ko bhi khatra hai. Hum kisi tareek pe jaenge, kiss court mei jaenge toh humko apna protection bi dekhna padega. Yeh bahut saara bada chinta ka vishay hai."

Twisha Sharma's dad, Navnidhi Sharma, elaborating on the threat that has been looming over his life, stated that when they had gone to oppose the anticipatory bail, it was all different. Twisha's family had been to the sessions court, as mentioned by Navnidhi, and there they were also attacked. They had filed a complaint, and then, at Jabalpur, the media were also attacked. In his words:

"Unke kum se kum 150 se lekar 200 goons thei. Unke waha par advocate ki form mei toh yeh clear cut teen jagah toh media ne dekha hua tha, joh saare logo ne dekha."

Giribala Singh's elder daughter in law's identity has been kept a secret due to legal restrictions

Giribala Singh's elder daughter-in-law was married to Squadron Leader Siddharth Singh. Her identity has been kept private for legal and safety reasons. The lady had revealed that she has a Gag order and due to this, she cannot speak about her marriage, Giribala or her family. This is because she could face contempt of court. For the unversed, a gag order is a legal directive which is issued by a judge. It prohibits parties, attorneys, witnesses, or the media from discussing or reporting details related to an ongoing court case in public. The main purpose is to respect and protect the importance of the trial and also ensure that the parties have an equal and a fair hearing.

Twisha Sharma's dad, Navnidhi Sharma, reportedly had attended proceedings related to the case at a Bhopal court. The family has long maintained that the investigation was significantly affected by the influence of Samarth Singh's mom, retired judge, Giribala Singh. Navnidhi had revealed:

"Our stand from day one has been that there was institutional bias and procedural irregularity in the investigation due to Giribala Singh's influence. These concerns were not raised recently; we have been saying this from the beginning. We are satisfied with the CBI investigation and hope that Twisha will get justice. The agency is carrying out its work, and we are confident that the facts will emerge through the legal process."
