Twisha Sharma Case, Giribala Singh's First-DIL Reflects On Rs. 25 Lakh GAG Order, 'My Marriage...'

Twisha Sharma passed away on May 12, 2026. It has been over a month since the actress died at her Katara Hills home in Bhopal. What initially looked like a suicide case later turned darker when Twisha's family made some shattering allegations of dowry and harassment against her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh and her husband, Samarth Singh. The duo were soon detained by the CBI and is now in judicial custody in Bhopal jail. Amid that, Giribala Singh's first daughter-in-law has made revelations about her divorce and her marriage to the retired judge's elder son, Siddharth Singh, which have once again left everyone shocked.

Giribala Singh's first daughter-in-law, bound by a GAG order, can't speak about her marriage or the family

Giribala Singh's first daughter-in-law has finally broken her silence about her marriage to the retired judge's elder son, Siddharth Singh. However, rather than bringing clarity, her two statements have raised even more questions. The lady, who chose to keep her name and identity anonymous due to legal sensitivities, spoke to Mojo Story and revealed that she is bound by a legal agreement that prevents her from discussing her marriage to Siddharth Singh or the Singh family as a whole. She was quoted as saying:

"I have a gag order. I cannot speak about my marriage, Giribala, or her family. I could face contempt of court."

Giribala Singh's first daughter-in-law was paid Rs. 25 lakh in permanent alimony

Giribala Singh and her family have been in the limelight ever since Twisha Sharma's death. However, amid the investigation, it was also revealed that Giribala also had another daughter-in-law. According to reports, Giribala's elder son, Squadron Leader, Siddharth Singh, was previously married but parted ways with his wife in 2024. As per the documents obtained by Mojo Story, Siddharth and his former wife were granted a divorce by mutual consent in 2024. The couple had been married for six years but were living separately for almost two years.

According to reports, Siddharth Singh and his former wife parted ways, citing ideological differences as the reason for the breakdown of their marriage. The documents also state that there was no dispute between the "parties and that both had voluntarily sought the divorce". The court documents further mention the alimony paid by Giribala Singh's elder son during the divorce. It was stated that Squadron Leader, Siddharth Singh paid his former wife Rs. 25 lakh as permanent alimony, after which she cannot seek any future financial assistance or claims against him.

How did an amicable divorce lead to a GAG order?

While the reports state that the divorce was by mutual consent, the GAG order has left everyone questioning the need for it if there were no dispute between Siddharth Singh, his former wife, and his family. What is further interesting is that, despite the clean divorce, the first daughter-in-law is unwilling to speak about the family or is legally bound to stay quiet about the family even today.

Giribala Singh's first daughter-in-law is closely following Twisha Sharma's case

Further, during her conversation, Giribala Singh's first daughter-in-law admitted that she has been closely following the Twisha Sharma case. However, she cannot involve herself in the matter. She revealed that the only way she would be able to comment on the actress's death is if the court legally summons her. While there is no evidence of wrongdoing by any individual regarding Siddharth Singh's prior marriage, his former wife's comment has raised questions about whether there is anything to share.

"I am closely following the Twisha Sharma case, but I cannot be involved unless the court summons me for testimony."
