Mrs Funnybones, a.k.a., Twinkle Khanna, is born to superstars, late Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. She also has a sister, Rinke Khanna, who was also an actress. Though, Twinkle had followed the footsteps of her celebrity parents and had made her acting debut in 1995 with the film, Barsaat, later, she had decided to leave acting and had begun writing. Talking about her personal life, Twinkle had tied the knot with the Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar in 2001, and they are parents to two lovely kids, Aarav and Nitara.
Apart from her witty skills, Twinkle Khanna is also an avid social media enthusiast. She shares a beautiful bond with her mother, Dimple Kapadia, who had single-handedly parented her and her sister, Rinke Khanna. On June 8, 2021, Twinkle had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a picture to wish her mother, Dimple Kapadia, on her 64th birthday. Along with the beautiful picture, Twinkle had penned a note in which she had also pinpointed the ageless trait of her mother and had cleverly compared it to legendary filmmaker, Christopher Nolan's movies. Her wish could be read as:

A few moments back, Twinkle Khanna took to her Instagram handle and shared a black-and-white picture of her and her sister, Rinke Khanna, sitting on the lap of their mother, Dimple Kapadia. In the throwback picture, Dimple looked drop-dead gorgeous and the sister duo, Twinkle and Rinke, looked super adorable in their cute poses. She also posted a monochrome picture of Rodin's Thinker and compared her pose with him. She penned a hilarious caption and it can be read as:
"Who strikes the pose better? My answer: Rodin's The Thinker, but I was way cuter :) You can throw in your vote as well. P.S Let me clarify, since even my friends are messaging me - the pose competition is not between the three of us. It's us versus Rodin's thinker. Jesus !!!! #Goodolddays."
As soon as Twinkle posted the picture, her fans couldn't control their excitement and loaded the comment section praising the mother-daughter duo. While many other fans reacted to the post with love, one fan commented, "You look AND think wayyy cuter!" Twinkle's friends from the B-town, like Malaika Arora and Deepshikha Deshmukh, also commented.

During Twinkle Khanna's chat with Kareena Kapoor Khan, the author had revealed her decision to enter films. She had shared that she had become an actress to support her single mother as it was the quickest way of earning money. She had shared:
"I know for you it was a choice, but for me, I really didn't want to become an actress. It was out of necessity, I had a single mom and she was providing for everyone."
On Karan Johar's show, Koffee With Karan season 5, Twinkle Khanna had shared how her mother, Dimple Kapadia, had reacted when Akshay Kumar had asked for her daughter's hand for marriage. Twinkle Khanna had narrated:
"So, my mother and me are sitting together on the couch and he's sitting opposite. My mother's friend was there and he's doing acupressure for her back or something. So my mother says, 'I have to tell you something.' So, I said tell me. 'No, no after he goes.' But when I insisted, she said that one of our friends was doing a piece on a gay newspaper says that Akshay is gay. So, I almost fainted. Then she kept a condition before us, 'You both live together for one year and then we'll see."
