In the picture, Twinkle’s voracious reader, Nitara was seen engrossed in her book while the mommy captured her little munchkin. Along with the picture, Twinkle wrote, “My little one, grudgingly consented to pose or rather hide behind her current favourite-Sudha Murty’s The Gopi Diaries. I had the opportunity of meeting the eponymous Gopi, a memorable occasion, where we both bit off more than we could chew, as I was interviewing Mrs Murty and he was gobbling up her table.”

This is not the first time when Twinkle has given a glimpse of her daughter’s love for books. On March 13, 2020, Twinkle had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a monochrome picture of herself and her daughter, Nitara. The mother-daughter duo was seen reading their respective books. Along with the picture, Twinkle had written a funny caption that could be read as "There is nothing better than lying down next to each other, engrossed in our own book, but still together. On January 25, 2020, Twinkle had shared yet another glimpse of her ‘bookworm’, Nitara absorbed in her book. Along with the picture, she had written, “Rather displeased that I am interrupting her with my paparazzi tactics, I have now been banished to my room! Another tip to turn kids into readers-Let them read what they please instead of deciding what is worthy of reading :) #bookwormlife.”

In a 2017 interview with the Elle magazine, Twinkle had talked about raising her daughter. She had said, "People always focus on their daughters, they teach them to be independent and liberated. But what about raising a feminist son? The best thing is to teach your kids that they each hold a place of value. Gender is irrelevant. But even if I’m speaking a certain language, my daughter’s exposed to other people. Her favourite show at the moment is this Barbie TV show, and when I asked her what she likes about it, she said “Barbie likes to shop.” That’s a terrible show!" (Also Read: Shekhar Suman Leaves 'Justice For Sushant Singh Rajput' Battle After No Support From SSR's Family)
